I woke up at 8 and I went to the kitchen to eat something. When I arrived, I saw Corbyn making his famous pancakes.
"Good Morning, Lia! Did you sleep well?"
"I haven't slept that well in three years." I said with a smile.
"I'm happy for you. Well, here!"
He gave me a plate full of pancakes.
"I missed your pancakes so much."
"They're my best cooking." He said smiling.
He sat down beside me, and we eat the pancakes.
"Did you sleep here?"
"No, mom gave me a key last night, so I could come in when I wanted to."
"Oh, okay. Mom and dad aren't home?"
"No, they left early, they have an important meeting in China."
I'm not surprised, but I thought that at least they would stay a day without work, they have their son back. Would you ask for something better than that? Plus, my mom said, it was time to change.
I put a fake smile so Corbyn wouldn't see that I'm sad.
Ever since Corbyn "died", my parents have been traveling more, leaving me alone. I'm glad Corbyn's back, but I haven't completely forgiven him.
"Okay, I'm going to get dressed."
I went to my room and I get ready to my date with Daniel.
It was 10 minutes before noon, when I walked into the living room and sat on the couch waiting for Daniel.
"Where are you going today? I thought we were going to spend the day together."
"I'm sorry, but I already have plans. Maybe tomorrow?"
"With who?"
This is what I didn't miss. Corbyn was always a super protective brother, never let me out and because of him I don't have friends.
"It's none of your business."
"Yes, it's. I'm your older brother."
"Yes, but today's not your lucky day, because I'm not going to tell you."
I took my phone and texted Daniel.

I took my things and headed to the door.
"Bye, Corbyn!"
"Where do you..."
I walk out, don't let him finish and I ran to the beginning of the street.
