A/N: So I'm going to try to push out one more installment before I go on spring vacation.  but I hope to be able to upload  2-3  when I get back.

Also so you don't get confused the italicized  parts is Shifter mind speak. I will designated when it is sign language. Bold is when the other in Jungkook's head speaks. Yes they can speak independently if needed...So on with the story... Please let me know w hat you think.

At 550lbs, the little pussycat wasn't getting up anytime soon, unless it was by Jimin's said so.

Now was not the time for self-recrimination, he admonished himself. He grabbed Jungkook as he rose to his feet and placed him gently on his shoulder. He quickly moved to the center of the room as Taehyung threw the rugs aside and throw open the hatch of the basement that lead to very old underground pathway. All the inhabitants of the house quickly moved as some of the lesser ranked enforcers made sure that everything was placed just as it had been before.

Taehyung was muttering to himself about how they were all screwed due to his Alpha messing with some psycho kid. Jimin let loose a barely audible low growl, letting his cousin know he didn't appreciate his muttering as well as a call for silence. They quickly moved through the darken pathway. Even though being underground several feet the unending heat from the glaring summer sun seemed to have penetrated the harden soil, and even the air was sweltering, even more so for Jimin with the extra deaden weight of the kid on his shoulder. He moved swiftly setting a decidedly inhumane pace to get his Jungkook and family to safety as fast as he could. "Sorry for the rush, but we need to put as much space between us and the Hunters as we can. As soon as we hit the forest, we will be safer than we are now. So just hang in there for a little bit longer. We will rest as soon as there are a few miles between us and them." Jimin stated with a softly veiled plea for patience from the older couple. He knew he had asked a lot of them, but it couldn't be helped. He needed to save them in order to save the cub. He had a lot to think about when it came to the whole family. He felt compelled to save Jungkook. He had known the kid for most of his life. As he said he had come hand in hand with his cousin, but the discovery of this brat being mate had been unsettling, to say the least. He would have to think about that more, but this wasn't the time to be distracted.

They had been traveling for about 20 minutes when he could hear the faint sound of rapidly moving footsteps pounding about 1000 feet behind them. He would have to fight them, and he really wasn't up to it. He quickly traded his burden to his cousin. "1000 ft. Take them up and hide after going through the river. I will take care of the rest." He said with an air of finality. He didn't know how many he would have to face but he knew there was probably more than he could handle on his own. Unless he shifted, and then it was still a crap shoot. They had guns. As long as there wasn't any light, he had slight advantage. But still, a crap shoot with really fucked-up odds. He sincerely wished he had cold-cocked the kid from the start. But hindsight was twenty-twenty. Jimin sighed heavily, as he thought; my bad. He quickly moved back the way he had come, sticking closely to the wall. He masked his footsteps with soft scratching along the walls and ground, the sound mimicking the scurrying of mice or rats. The footsteps seem to slow. Really? He thought to himself, you chase a 300-600lbs tiger without fear, but you shudder at the thought of a few mice. He found that amazingly ironic. He continued until he saw a faint light in front of him. He removed his shoes and partially shifted his hands and feet. Judging from the height he had some room to hide on top of the man-made cave, without being detected.

"Hey did y'all hurr tat? I think tere're rats in hurr...." One loud whiny voice exclaimed. Jimin shook his head. He was right they were idiots. Knowing that you were chasing men who could turn you in a steak platter, and worrying over a few rats, loud enough to alert said men to your presence, made you not only an idiot but one of truly epic proportion. "Shut your hole, Acer. You are too loud. This is an extremely confined space. If we come up on them, we need to have the advantage of surprise and your pie-hole is gonna lose us that advantage." Another man with a deeper more menacing voice said in lower tones. Well it would seem that not all of them were stupid, Jimin thought to himself. Though he could still feel waves of fear, it kinda hurt his shifter pride that it was more from the rats than the fact that they could run into a shifter. Jimin kept his breathing slow and easy, even as he spotted the flash of their flashlights. They had been much closer than he had thought. He prayed that his men, especially the younger ones had managed to beat a fast retreat and hadn't gotten to hurt.
