Ancient Omega (Jikook)

Part 12 Pt. 1-History Lesson

The blinding run cause Jungkook's stomach to flip flop. Though he could feel his body quickly repairing itself, the run was undoing some of it, But, he didn't complain. He knew that Jimin was anxious. He didn't know how he knew; he just did. It was unnerving to realize that whomever had taken him was now, coming for the larger man's people. They must hate him. Their lives were uncertain, all because of him.

He had been so deep in his own thoughts, that he was startled by the deep growl that emanated from the other man's chest.

"I don't know what you are thinking but stop." Jimin's voice so low and gravely, he nearly clenched up in fear. "It feels like you are giving up. We haven't even started, and you are ready to quit. Why?" He asked as he turned a corner. Jungkook was distracted from answering by the children he saw playing in some of the rooms they passed. Some.in kit form others in human form. A small soft smile graced his lips before disappearing as fast as it had come.

"I'm worried for your people. Especially the children. They didn't ask for this. And it is our fault. We should have made you go away. But deep-down Ru liked sparring with you. He will never admit it, but I know. He could have made you stay away. But he didn't." Jungkook cuddled into a tighter ball in the older man's arms. If something happened to the children; it would be his fault. It is the asshole's fault for not leaving us alone. We will not be responsible for any of the harm that may come to those children. I will protect them, from him.. How? That man scares you as much as does me. But not for long. Soon we will enter our maturity. 5 years ago, I nearly gutted him, and I was a whelp, probably why he is tired of waiting. He will not be able to beat us once our body matures.

"Want to let me in on your conversation?" Jimin asked much too politely, making Jungkook look up and noticing they were outside a large door.

"Ummm, well, Runari thinks the reason why the man is coming after us so hard is because anytime now, we could enter our maturity. Once that happens he can't do anything to us. Seeing how Runari almost killed him when he escaped. And we shouldn't have had the power to damage him like we did. Or he did rather." Jungkook states softly but at a speed that made Jimin blink.

"We will discuss all that inside. I'm going to set you on your feet. Then we will enter. Stay close to me. Though, these are people that have my trust. Where you are concerned, I trust no one." Jimin stated plainly as he went through the ritual of opening the door.

He quickly latched Jungkook to his side as he entered, as he was greeted by a furious argument

"I'm not responsible for my father's action, I didn't even know about them...case in point the child I gave birth who was reported stillborn, eating his way through my kitchen!!! So, beating me over the head with questions will gain you nothing!" Jin was nearly screaming at a such a fast rate the Jungkook could only blink as he caught every other word.

"Look, leave my mate alone!" Namjoon growled. "I WAS TOLD!!! His father contacted me!!! And gave a hint that my blood heir might be alive and that if I helped he would turn the child over to me. I never discussed it with Jin. If things went sour, I didn't want him to lose the only true family he has!" Namjoon explained dejectedly.

"That still makes you a traitor to your nephew, the child you raised!" Yoongi said in a deathly quiet manner." Why do get to stand in here like ally is beyond me." He finished with a very real threat in his tone. Jimin had heard enough. His mate had begun to shake and that was the group's undoing.

"ENOUGH!!!!!" He boomed in his alpha voice, causing all muttering and arguing to cease. "This is MY land, and my people. I will decide who is a traitor and who is not. And Yoongi let's not forget what you have done for the sake of Hoseok, which could be seen as traitorous. But, I let you live, and you have proven that was a sound decision. So, have a little understanding as you have been on the other end of that chain. Namjoon, though, I understand why you did what you did, I would have done the same even, the difference is that I would have came.to you, as you should have come to me. Now, that you all have upset my mate, I feel the need to do slap the hell out of all of you." He said with mild disgust in his voice. Knowing that would keep their mouths shut.
