I. Hate. English. I have five more minutes of English and time could not pass by any slower! It's my last class of the day and it's 4:25. I was going to go to the library after class and get started on this new book I found called Leverage before I got ready to go to the café with Harry at 8. I completely tuned out Mrs. Meyers and started imagining what it would be like to be with Harry. I wonder if he's a good kisser. Does he like cuddling? I sure hope he does. He said he's in a band. Is he any good? If we were dating, would he ever sing a song dedicated to me? That would be so sweet!

Ugh, Lucy! Focus! It's not going to happen. He's happily taken and I'm happily single, right? Well, I guess I'm happily single. I don't really know. And what about Alex? I still have feelings for Alex. At least I think I do? He hasn't talked to me since I got here. Maybe he forgot about me. Maybe he never really cared. Maybe he just kissed me because it was going to be his last chance, so might as well do it.

Alex is in a different country and Harry is taken. Great. Just great. Can my life get any worse?

"Okay class, don't forget your culture paper is due next Friday!" Mrs. Meyers yelled as we packed our stuff and walked out the door. I walked straight to the library, opened up my book and started reading. I always gets really excited when I start to read a new book. I love letting my head form it's own movie making my imagination go wild.

"Hey Eric, look at this nerd. She's reading a book for fun. Who the fuck does that these days? Ew, her hair is bright red. Who would dye their hair a bright red? She looks like a strawberry shortcake doll." I tried to ignore the comments and continue reading, but curiosity got the best of me. I looked up and saw a tall girl with bleach blond hair and piercing blue eyes. Her skirt barely covered her ass cheeks and her boobs popped out from the top of her tank top. Her skin looked like it was caked on and her make up was black, making her look like a raccoon.

"Excuse me?" I asked her.

"Yeah, you should be sorry for forcing people like me to share the same air as people like you." I could not believe this girl. What is her problem? I haven't done anything to her and now she's going to bitch at me? "I saw you walking with Harry. You know he has a girlfriend, right? You are never going to get him. He would deserve way better than you." Her voice was high pitched and squeaky.

"I don't want to 'get him.' He's my friend and I don't want him in any other way." I tried to lie and cover up my true feelings for Harry, but she wasn't buying it.

"Every girl in this school wants Harry as more than a friend, including you. Let's face it, he shouldn't even be giving you the time of day." She smirked at me.

"Well he's obviously giving me more attention than you and you're obviously jealous, so why don't you run along with your little boy toy over here and get out of my face." I snapped back. I was not in the mood for bullshit right now.

She just stared at me with her jaw hanging low and her eyes open wide. Yeah, thats right. Walk away.

After that whole encounter with that wanna be whore, I continued reading until 6:30, giving me enough time to walk back to my dorm and get ready to hang out with Harry.

I changed into my black Ramones T-shirt and some faded cut off shorts. I through my curly hair into a pony tail, grabbed my gray vans and wore little make up.

The moment I finished, I heard a knock on my door. "Lucy, you ready?"

"Yes, just a second!" I took a final look in the mirror and opened up the door. Seeing Harry made me smile. His dimples blew me away every time.

"Nice shirt." He smirked and pointed to my shirt. I looked down completely forgetting what I was wearing and blushed. That's embarrassing. He barely complimented me and I started blushing like an idiot. I looked up and realized Harry was wearing the same shirt.
