A Harry Potter Fanfiction

Speech " "

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.

A/N 1: If you don't like, don't read. It's that simple.

A/N 2: So I thought that I'd change the setting a bit😸. Oh and btw the "farm/barn animals that Harry refers to are the Dursleys.

Last Chapter: I walk out of our cupboard first, then Theo follows me. We pass by the farm animals on the way to the kitchen.

We get there and the table does in fact look like some barn animals ate all of the food there. There really isn't anything to save as left overs. So Theo helps me throw away the remainder of the food and then we get to work cleaning the dishes.

Harry's POV-10yrs old

I turn a page in the Biography of Sir Issac Newton. It talks about what he did in life and what he invented. I, well rather, Theo and I are reading it as a book report for our school. We all got assigned someone to do a book report on, that was important in history. The class got to work in pairs or independently if they wanted to. Everyone else paired up and ignored me.

Jokes on them. I have Theo. I don't need them anyways.

Unbeknownst to the teacher, I do in fact have a partner. Theo and I are working on it together, and we already have most of it completed. We just need to add a few quotes on Newton's work and cite them, and then we'll be done.

Our teacher gave this to us as an "over-the-weekend" type assignment. Luckily, the barn animals decided to go visit Marge for the weekend. Otherwise, we may not have gotten it done at all.

I turn back to the paper, after skimming some information about Newton's third law, and I quote it and then cite it.

After a while, Theo and I finish the essay. Theo helped me correct any errors that I missed, while I quoted and cited everything.

That essay was a piece of cake.

Theo had already read this particular book to me, two years ago. We would have been just fine with facts about Newton, but we had to use the book to quote and cite everything.

I grab the book and stand up from my seat at a small table in the far corner of the library. I go over to the shelf that I took the book from, and I place it back in the spot, from which I took it. I grab the bookmark that I had placed on the shelf to mark the spot, and then I walk back over to Theo.

He's standing up at the table, with our backpack slung on his shoulder, waiting for me. I smile at him and we head out of the Library. We walk out of the doors, and I am well aware of the Librarian's eyes following me, as I go.

We get to the stop sign at the end of the street, and we usually cross the road to head back to the Dursley's house. However, we have other plans today. Instead of crossing, we take a left.

We agreed to go to the bookshop a few blocks away, today. Theo and I have been taking money from the Dursley's all year. They won't care for us, so why do they need that much money? To pretend to be rich? Pfft-rigggghhhhttt. We had also decided to visit a clothing store and get some new clothes later, with the money that we have.

Theo counted it this morning in my cupboard, while I made breakfast. We had managed to take over four thousand pounds. Four thousand, nine hundred, and eighty-two pounds to be exact (4982£).
