You had just moved from your old house in (insert where you live here) to your new home in Maryland. You moved because your mother got a new job opportunity, now working for a company named Watson. You were incredibly sad when you discovered you had to leave your old home, as it meant you wouldn't get to see your friends for a really long time. You would have to start over, in a completely new school.

You went into your new house, completely shocked. It was way bigger than your old home, but what really shocked you was your room. Just like the rest of the house, it was huge. You could definitely get used to living here.

"(y/n), help bring in the paint cans!" You heard your mom from downstairs. You brought in (f/c) paint, which you would use to paint your room. Luckily it would be a week before school started, so you had a bit of time to paint your room and hang up posters. You helped your parents paint, but the scene was rather messy, and you somehow managed to get the paint literally everywhere. Making messes was just second habit to you.

"Ugh! Why can't I do this! I'm so irresponsible!" You shouted after dumping paint on the floor for what felt like the fiftieth time.

"Hey, you need to cut that out if you're ever going to learn to drive!" Your father was angry now, but he always was in these situations.

"Yeah, I know." You pouted. "I'll clean it up." Normally you were a pretty confident person, but you were a bit irritable and feared failure. But eventually, you did succeed in painting your room, and when the paint dried, you hung up posters of your favorite bands. After that you went to check out the neighborhood. It had a skate park, perfect. You loved to skate, and it was pretty much the only physical activity you enjoyed. Mostly because it meant meeting a lot of cute guys (or even girls if you're into that). You actually quite liked your new home.
