It was a lovely summer day on the beach. The sun was shining. The waters were warm, not because of urine. This beach was in the city of Animatropolis. Not to be confused with the alternate, yet very similar version of the city, Animetropolis. Now, you may be wondering why this city was called Animatropolis. Well, it's because of the city's 3 hero's, who were on the beach of Animatropolis that fateful day. The name of the beach is called Kitty Hawk. Trust me, their Kitty Hawk had a much more interesting reason to be important than why our realitys Kitty Hawk is important. Anyway, let's introduce you to the main hero's of the story. As I said before, there were 3 hero's of that world.

The first hero's name was Abbey. Abbey is the brains and leader of the 3, even though all 3 of the hero's don't really want to have a leader. Abbey has freckles all over her cheeks, and has glasses. She has brown hair, which was pretty much in a ponytail 24/7. On that fateful day, Abbey had worn short jeans and a black t-shirt that had a black cat silhouetted by a full moon. She was laying down on the beach towel that the 3 hero's had brought with them.

Next is Hunter. She has short blonde hair that looks as if she had never washed her hair. She wore her signature sweatshirt with a hood that was grey and had a picture of a wolf howling at a full moon. She was wearing grey sweatpants that fateful day. She wasn't the smartest, but she was the most creative, risk taking person between the 3 hero's.

And finally, we have Kaleb. Kaleb wore a sweater that was a sort of dusty blue, except for his grey sleeves. Kaleb also wore jeans. He was a go with the flow kind of guy, and would do the first thing that would help him and his friends.

Now, you may have even more questions. So, I will give you answers. The reason they are not wearing actual beach attire is because they're on the watch for someone who they believe is part of a criminal syndicate. And they are the hero's of Animatropolis because they have special powers. Abbey can transform into a couger whenever she wanted to and could embody the reflexes, intelligence, and curiosity of a cat 24/7. But, that also meant she couldn't turn off those cat abilities.

Hunter could become a wolf and would always have large amounts of pride, honour, and brotherhood.

Kaleb can become a falcon at will and would always be cautious and suspicious of people.

Now you might be thinking that their primal instincts are different from their personalities. You are correct. But, instead of their instincts and personalities destroying each other and leaving a forever blank slate behind, they would have a second voice in their heads that would be their inner primal instincts.

So, the 3 hero's waited and waited for the person they were looking for, and even making some small conversation to not look suspicious. But after waiting some more and packing up to go back home, there was a sudden energy outburst. All the energy in Animatropolis had increased by 10, so powerful that simple room lights had become blinding. Then a triangle shaped portal that had an inner yellow swirling center had seemingly materialized in front of the 3 hero's. Immediately, Abbeys cat curiosity had kicked in, of course, and she immediately began to walk toward the the triangular yellow portal.

"Stop!" Kaleb said, "Don't get closer to whatever that thing is!"

But it was too late.

Abbey had already stuck her hand inside the portal.
