Chapter Five

I was sitting in the class talking to Rin and Shiemi as Yukio walks into the classroom and I notice a stack of paper in his hand and he walks to the front of the classroom and faces everyone,

"I am going to hand out the results from the latest test." I knew this wasn't going to end well for Rin after seeing how bad he was.

"Moriyama." Shiemi went up and got her paper before coming back over and showing us, Rin began laughing at her and I glared at him,

"Shiemi I think they are cute names ignore Rin. If you would like I could help you learn the names since I do know most things." She nods with a smile,

I look and watch Rin and another head up to get their results before starting a small fight, I sigh as Yukio and the guy's friends split the two up, Rin comes and sits back down grumbling about the kid before starting up a conversation with Shiemi. I get up from my seat and walk to the back of the room where the boy is sitting,

"What's your problem with Rin? I have seen you glare at him all day." I ask,

"What's it to you?" I give him a stern look and he knew I meant business however he just looked like he didn't care, I was keeping calm and collected,

"Because he is all talk, he is just stupid."

"Then I guess you must a genius and know everything about how to be an exorcist? Cause I know Rin doesn't have brains but he has a reason for being here just like everyone else in this class."

"Why do I have to tell you anything, you're probably just like him!" He shouted and stood up in front of me and I knew now everyone was watching us and listening in,

"You know nothing about me..." I said in a quiet and calm voice,

"You don't have any experience and you are a failure just like him and should leave! Especially since you fainted from the sight of a couple of ...." I cut him off by pushing him back, and screaming at him enraged,

"You know nothing about me or my life! You didn't have to watch your parents burn alive at the age of 6 because of Satan! You weren't burned by his flames and have to suffer the nightmares for years! So don't think you FUCKING know anything about me!!" I looked around noticing everyone's surprise and also that Mephisto was standing by the door before noticing what I had said before anyone could speak up I ran towards and out of the doors past Mephisto as tears began to roll down my face. I had made my way into the forest near Rin and Yukio's dorm before stopping by a tree sliding down and curling into a ball trying to hold in my tears. After a few minutes, I hear footsteps a little bit away,

"Sakura?" I flinched when I heard Mephisto say my name in a soft way, I heard his footsteps get closer before stopping right in front of me, I was a little surprised when he wrapped his arms around me,

"It's fine Sakura, you can let it all out." as soon as he said those words I felt my tears rolling down my face like a waterfall before hugging him back as he pets the top of my head.

After calming down I had noticed I wasn't on the grass and on something a little comfier. I release Mephisto from the hug and notice I was on my bed in my room while Mephisto was on the floor crouched,

"have you calmed down now?" I nod,

"I'm sorry you had to see that... I... I just couldn't keep it in anymore." he strokes the side of my face,

"I understand don't worry. Would you like to tell me the story or is it for another time?" I shook my head,

"I should probably tell you the truth now." he gets up from the floor and sits beside me in the bed,

"When I was 6 my parents and I went to a temple for a trip as a family. I was going to be our last family trip in a while as my father was going abroad to work in another country. During the 2nd night of staying at this temple we were getting ready for bed, We begin to hear screams... It Was around that time my father burst into blue flames...before dropping to the ground dead... My mother was next however her body lasted long enough for satan to notice me, he began complimenting me and I was just frozen in fear... It was then he tried to take over my body... However, he couldn't... When he tried to only my back burst into flames before my body kicked him out resulting in me passing out I woke up in the hospital two days later an orphan." I undo the top of my shirt before pulling it so it rested just below my shoulder blades and faced him,

"This is what I got from Satan, this scar which is what made me able to do everything I can today." I feel his ungloved hand glide across the scars, I shivered as his cold hand glide across it,

"They look like wings. They don't hurt do they?" Shook my head

"No, they only feel a little tender now and then." I cover my back again before turning to face Mephisto again.

"For now you should rest as I guess you won't go back to class today?" I nod and he stood up,

"I Shall leave you to get some rest then, I have to go meet someone later however I will come get you for some..." I stopped him,

"If it is okay I would like to make food tonight." He looked surprised when I asked so I quickly back peddled,

"If you don't want me to, I..." He stops me with a finger to my lips,

"I would love to try whatever you make." I smile and he walks out of the room and I fall back on the bed. Both my hands on face embarrassed at what I had just asked, before sitting up and walking into the bathroom splashing some water on my face, I look at my reflection and notice the tear tracks from where I was crying. I wash my face trying to make myself a little more presentable,

'I guess I should head downstairs.' I walk out of my room heading downstairs to the living area and then the kitchen. I walk in and began to look through the fridge and cupboards before began to cook up a quick meal for us when I was almost finished with the food when I began to hear footsteps,

"Something smells good." I chuckle and dish up the food and place it on the kitchen counter,

"Well enjoy as this might be one of the healthiest foods you will eat... I hope you like it." Mephisto walked up and took the plate before sitting down and digging into the meal. I make myself one before taking a seat next to him as he is shovelling the food down,

"You're going to choke if you're not careful." As I say this he begins to choke on his food, I quickly pat his back feeling the tingle in my hand,

"I warned you didn't I." He chuckled after recovering a little bit,

"Well it tastes so good I thought only instant noodles could taste good." I sigh,

"It's not the best food ever, I can promise you that." He grabbed my hand in both of his,

"Marry me." I was in shock and didn't know what to say,

"I.... Uhh," He noticed what he said and looked a little embarrassed as well. We both went back to eating our dinner before he headed up to his bedroom, I decided it would be best for myself to do the same, and call it a night and hopefully forget all that happened today.

Hey everyone, It's been a while but I have been busy but here is the next chapter finally, I didn't notice that I had already completed this chapter before I had actually thought the chapter still had a lot more to be completed but I was wrong.
