Today was officially the worst day. It was thundering and lighting and the rain was coming down heavily. Normally it wouldn't be a problem if my brother, Rian was here. Yes Rian from all time low. He was on holiday with his girlfriend and I didn't want to third wheel. I got along with his band members, well apart from Alex. He was such a twat to me just because I was Rians sister. Rian knew how much of a twat he was to me but still he didn't stop. In fact he got worse. To the point where I didnt want to be in the same room as him.
Another crash of thunder brought me out of my daze and I whimpered from how scared I was. Ever since I was a little girl I had been afraid of thunderstorms. Tears rolled down my face as I got up to get a blanket and sit back on the couch.
Just as I got up a knock came from the door.

Alex pov-
I was sat in my bedroom whilst playing some quiet music whilst the thunderstorm continued to drown out the music. I didnt mind thunderstorms, they relaxed me and gave me motivation to write. The rain drops rolled down the window and suddenly I got some gut feeling that something was wrong. I looked over at my phone to see that Rian was calling.

"Hey dude, how's your holiday?"
"It's going good. Are you at home?"
"Yeah why?"
"It's thundering."
"Okay. And?"
"Y/n is afraid of them ever since she easy little. Go and check on her please only if it's not too dangerous."
"Fuck! Yeah I'll let you know how she is"
"Thanks dude. Also don't piss her off"

I put the phone down and grabbed my jacket and keys before rushing to my car. I started the engine and drive as fast I could. I may be a twat but I knew how scared she was of thunderstorms.
A few red lights and a string of profanities and I was stood outside of her front door. I knocked and then waited for her to open the door. It swung open and it took a moment for her to register who I was before she flung her arms around my waist and hugged me.
"I really don't care that it's you Alex. I just need someone"
"Hey I'm here now it's okay"

I walked us inside and kicked the door closed before sitting us down on the couch. She had tears running down her face .
"Hey its okay"
Her breathing started to slow down until she had finally stopped crying. She looked at me and smiled the tiniest bit.
"Thank you for coming over"
"It's okay. Your brother basically forced me to but I'm here now and everything will be okay"

Y/n pov

We were both sitting on the couch whilst watching movies. The rain had stopped now but we wanted to finish the movie.
We were talking about the upcoming tour and that he wanted me to do the Merch and help with the sound. It sounded fun so I decided to say that I'd do it.

"I genuinely think Alex has the ability to be nice to me"
He looked shocked that i said that and then smiled at me.
"You seem to be a nice person, you've made me food and gave me dry clothes. Can we be friends?"
"But we're not friends. You've been a twat to me over the past few years and I don't know if i can forget-"
