Ode to a Ghost

You are a muse
Though 'tis your absence which inspires
Or perhaps the ghost of you
In my eye has yet to expire

Invading my mind day through night
Always dreaming about what wasn't
How I hate the way you float
I'm the corners of my orbs

Let me compare you to a contender
Or shant I since thee is not present
You are more lying
As a wintertime itinerary tells me to sunbathe

How do I hate you?
Let me count the ways
I hate your scary ankle hands and your thigh high knees.
Thinking of your absence
Under a cherry tree

Remember my words
Whilst we are apart

Please let me know what you think it means! ❤❤❤
