Alone

A long day...

Boruto just started at the piece of paper, should he be happy she's finally out of his hair? Sad because he had somewhat fallen for her and she just leaves?
He didn't know but he wanted to know one thing, did she leave on her own or did some event take place while he was gone?
Boruto took a tired sigh, "you just had to leave all a sudden didn't you and give me a damn headache. Self note never get attached to anyone or thing ever again" thought Boruto annoyed
Boruto walked into now his room and pulled off his sweaty jonin jacket, he let it fall to the floor before he began working on his black t-shirt before he threw that onto the floor as well next he got down on one knee and began taking off his shoes that due to some protocol now had to have rather annoying laces thus explaining the mumbles of curses being spat by our beloved blond protagonist
After his little war with his shoes he picked up his towel and walked into the bathroom, he stripped off his pants and underwear, he stepped into the shower and turned on the water, the first few seconds the water was just a few degrees from freezing before the water heated up and made the previous moments just so worth it
The warm water relaxes his tired and tense muscles, the water washed away the small amount of dirt on him from the tree hopping and the little fights
He watched as the dirt go down the drain as if it was his past sin and crimes, Boruto sighed and picked up his shampoo bottle before squeezing some into his hand

Approximately half an hour later Boruto stepped out side the shower with a towel around his waist, he walked into his room and looked around for any clues to how long Kisura left
He walked to the closet and swinged it open and found his cloths on one side and the other side was empty, 'looks like she really left', Boruto shrugged and picked one of his darker shaded t-shirt along with a pair of light brown jeans
It took him nothing more then three minutes to wear everything, Boruto walked through the halls and down the stairs, he put on his casual shinobi sandals and walked out of the house before locking the door and starting to walk towards the centre of the village

Boruto was making his way to the Hokage's tower at a slow and relaxed pace
As he walked down the street a lot of ppl stared at him and whispered amongst them selfs
"Whose that?" , "is that Naruto-Sama?" , where some of the more common whispered that Boruto heard, he would not help but smile as the younger generations knew his father
That was when his peripheral vision caught white on the roof tops but when he stopped and he turned his head to face it but nothing was there
Boruto continued walking until he heard the sound of a running and a feminine voice calling his father's name, stopping and turning around he saw a konoichi with platinum blond hair, half of her face was covered by her hair, she had blue eyes and pink plump lips, she wore a sleeveless blouse which allowed her flat abdomen to be seen and she wore a calf long  skirt with designer konoichi sandals
Behind her were two other konoichi, one had shoulder length pink hair with emerald green eyes, she wore a pink sleeveless dress which was split in the front from just above the navel along with pale white pants and casual konoichi high heels and next to her was ten-ten
"Naruto-kun? Is that really you? If you've come back from the dead you look younger then before" Said The platinum blond
Hearing this Boruto looked at ten-ten who just had a smile on her face which made Boruto sigh and begin talking "Ino yamanaka, current head of the yamanaka clan, high jonin level konoichi, master in the mind-switch technique, healer in the ino-shika-cho and the wife of Sai yamanaka, and mother of Inojin yamanaka" next he looked at Sakura and continued, "next Sakura Uchiha, head of the Medical Corp, low-Kage level konoichi, apprentice of Tsunade senju, master in the super strength and healing techniques, also a member of the legendary team 7, wife of the current Hokage Sasuke Uchiha and mother of Sarada Uchiha" he took a moment to breath and went on to ten ten, "Ten-ten, current weapons mistress of konoha, high-jonin level shinobi, member of team guy, never married due to your love interest dying in the fourth great ninja war, no adoptive children"
Boruto looked at their faces with a smirk, both Sakura and Ino had a amazed face as they stared at Boruto while Ten-ten just shook her head the two amazed women snapped out of their daze and Sakura spoke, "we're flattered you know so much about us but we want to know about you"
Boruto could not help but smile and reply, "I'm hurt you don't remember me, after all you personally delivered me"
To this Sakura Replied, "Well I've delivered thousands of babies in my career as a medic so I can't exactly remember every single one of them"
Boruto rolled his eyes and began walking as he spoke, "how many babies have you delivered who has whisker marks, bright blond hair and electric blue eyes?"
This got the head medic and the platinum blond thinking, just as Boruto disappeared into the crowd it struck them, they turned to the only member who hadn't said anything through the whole thing and saw her nod, "that's Boruto Uzumaki, the fruit of Naruto-kun and Hinata-chan's love"
"Eww, you sound like lee and guy-sensei" joked Ino
"Actually she couldn't have put it any better way" Replied Sakura who was looking at the direction Boruto disappeared into

Boruto continued walking, his mind was going through his meeting with the konoichi's earlier,  his train of thoughts were interrupted by Sarada who was calling his name
Boruto turned around to greet them, "hello Sarada-san"
Sarada along with the rest of the group stopped a few steps behind Boruto, "taichou where are you going?" Asked Iwabe
"I'm going to the Hokage's office, I have to give him the mission report as well as ask him a few questions" Replied Boruto as he looked at the faces of the group, most of them had a face of respect and adoration, "seems like the team told them who the infamous 'Yami' is and my legacy" thought Boruto
"Taichou...c..ca..can I as..ask a que...question?" Stuttered Sumire
Boruto just nodded and the class rep continued, "are you i..in a..a...an...any rela...relationship?"
Hearing this Boruto thought for a moment before an idea creeped into his mind, "depends on what your going to do with that information"
The rest of the group were curious but it was over shadowed by the shock of seeing the usually timid and shy girl try to confess to the hottest guy in the village as of a few days ago
"I...I was ho..hopi...hoping that if yo...you aren't seeing so..som...someone ma...maybe y..you wou...would l...like to g..go out o..on a da...da...date.." finished the timid girl
Boruto thought of the offer and weighted the pros and cons, Boruto smiled at her before he spoke, "I'm not seeing anyone at the moment but I was recently given the rank of jonin thus as of protocol I will be busy for a maximum of 3 to 4 months so maybe if we aren't seeing anyone then maybe we can have that date"
It was not a rejection or excuse not to have that date but a valid reason that everyone that heard the interaction and knew of protocol knew, this let a small slither of hope into her heart
Boruto walked over to the purple haired girl and whispered something on her ear which caused her to blush crimson, he moved away with a small smile and excused him self before jumping into the roof tops and heading towards the Hokage's tower
Right as Boruto was out of sight the group began questioning the shy girl about what that was, during the whole thing Sarada was staring at Sumire with envy as jealousy brew in her heart, she wanted Boruto, the thought startled her she had never showed interest in the opposite gender so why start now?

Boruto landed in front of the Hokage's mansion, he walked into the building and saw a new receptionist, she was much younger, maybe in her early twenties, brown eyes with black hair, she wore a dark blue dress that faded up to her thigh, she wore a pair of very light blue skinny jeans with high heels, the receptionist looked up hearing some of climb the stairs and saw Boruto, her breath caught in her throat as he walked towards her desk, he walked past her but just as he past he offered a smile to her which made her blush
Boruto walked up to the door and knocked, he heard a faint come in, opening the door Boruto walked in and saw the nanadaime buried in paper work
Boruto greeted the Kage and handed him the mission report before he spoke again, "Hokage-Sama have you seen Kisura?"
The Hokage looked up from his paperwork and replied, "I don't know where she is but yesterday I got reports of a girl who looks like Kisura near the border of wind and fire, why do you ask?"
"When I came back from the mission she was missing and I found a note that read good bye, so I wanted to see if she left the village or was just moving to another house" responded the blond
Boruto nodded and thanked the Kage before he left the room so the Kage could returned to his paperwork
Boruto walked out of the office and went to the terrace of the mansion and sat down lotus style, he began concentrating to feel the marker he put of Kisura for just in case purposes, he concentrated in the area around the land of wind and fire just then he felt the marker near that area but it was faint
He got to his feet and teleported to the marker

Boruto arrived on a cliff facing a clearing, on the edge was Kisura looking at him with a sad smile
Knowing how delicate the situation was Boruto put of a sad smile and softly said, "Kisura-chan?"
"Boruto-kun..." Replied Kisura
"Why did you leave?" Softly Asked Boruto
"Isn't this what you wanted? For me to leave? So that you don't have to worry about coming home? So that you don't have to care!" She had begin to cry at this point
"When did I ever say that?" Asked Boruto
"You never said that but I know, today just a few hours ago I felt that you were sad, I knew that you saw the little note and it made me happy I almost wanted to come back but then I felt you were happy!! You were happy I was gone!!" Screamed Kisura
Boruto didn't deny the accusation he just looked down, "Kisura if you really know how I feel you will know that a small part of me still wanted you gone but a large part of me is falling for you, I was falling for you at a much faster pace before but after the whole me being just a friend to you the pace slowed down and I'm not completely over it...yet"
Kisura just stared at him, the usual warm ness in her eye was no longer there she just turned her self to face the cliff, "if you truly love me you would have instantly forgiven me like I did before" and just leapt off the cliff
Boruto quickly ran towards the cliff and jumped off following Kisura, Boruto quickly teleported her and hugged her, he turned them so that if they made an impact he would take the blunt of it
He wrapped his arms around her and softly whispered in her ear, "if we're gonna die, we'll die together" and closed his eyes
The couple were free falling for a few more seconds before Boruto felt Kisura hug him tighter, just mere centimetres off the ground they stopped
Boruto not feeling the immense pain of his soul leaving its vessel opened his eyes see two chakra arms coming out of Kisura's back and stopping their fall, the chakra arms lowered them to the ground gently before disappearing, Kisura had taken a fist full off Boruto's shirt and was trembling, slowly Boruto felt the coldness of tears on his shirt, slowly increasing
Kisura did not lift her face from Boruto's shirt as she cried so Boruto held her and stroked her back
The couple stayed in each other's embrace for approximately four to five minutes before Kisura pulled away and sat down a in front of him drying her tears, "why can't you say that you love me?" Softly Asked Kisura
Boruto looked to the side and replied, "I want to say it, but I'm afraid...I'm afraid that if I say it you'll disappear just like the rest of them, just like all the people that I openly expressed my love for...I'm afraid of loosing you, just like all the others..."
Boruto looked back at Kisura however she was standing up, she began walking towards the trees put stopped in front of a tree and touched it before saying, "then come find me when you know that I'll not disappear like all the others"
"Just like your not leaving me right now?" Asked Boruto, hearing this Kisura turned to face him wanting to retort but chose against it and once again look away and start mending into the tree
Leaving Boruto alone in the middle of the little clearing, Boruto sat there in the middle for several more minutes hoping Kisura would come back but once he was sure she wouldn't be sighed before slowly getting up, he dusted himself and slowly began walking towards the village but just before he entered the path he turned back and looked at the clearing once last time before beginning his long walk home

When he arrive at the village the sun was at the horizon painting the sky in beautiful shades of orange and red, birds were flying back to their nests to rest for the night after flying about searching for food for both themselves as well as their offsprings, Boruto entered the village and headed straight for the groceries store, a few customers were shopping or checking out
Boruto walked deeper into the aisles, "what do I need to get again?" Boruto thought out loud
But before he could think further he felt a presence behind, "may I help you?" Asked Boruto without looking behind, turning around he saw a genin bowing and holding out a scroll
Boruto gently took the scroll and said, "please don't bow to me, I'm not on duty", hearing this the young genin stood up and looked at Boruto, "what is your name?" Asked our blond protagonist, "my name is Mayuri, I'm a genin of team 14, and I have no clan name as I am an orphan" spoke the boy proudly with a smile
Boruto acknowledged the young genin before dismissing him, after the boy left Boruto opened the scroll and the first thing he saw was the Hokage's insignia this made Boruto sigh before he vanished in a flash of black

Boruto appeared on the couch of the Uzumaki residence, getting comfortable Boruto opened the scroll further and it read, "Jonin Boruto Uzumaki, a month long mission has been assigned to you, the details of the mission shall be discussed with you tomorrow at mid-day, it would be wise to arrive in time, signed and stamped the nanadaime"
Boruto could not help but shake his head very slowly and look at the floor, "tou-san, kaa-chan, what do I do?" Thought aloud Boruto
He was not expecting an answer when he heard the window open and the wind carry his parents voices, "follow your heart sweetheart" came the voice of his mother, "yes follow your heart son" came his father's
A silent tear rolled down his cheek, a smile on his face,

Boruto sat on the couch thinking of his parents and how things would be if they were alive, before he knew it the clock had struck mid night, he had not had any dinner
"Guess I'll have to go out and find a restaurant open at this time of night" thought Boruto getting up from the couch and heading for the door
Boruto exited his house and locked the door before turning around and waking into the cold night, Boruto walked through the neighbor hood and into the central area of the village
There were a few people walking around in group most likely guys or girls night out, Boruto walked down the street towards a modest looking restaurant that from the looks of it served hand made pastries and sweets, Boruto walked in and saw a few of the tables occupied so he walked over to a corner table before sitting down, a few minutes later a waitress came to take his order, ordering a small chocolate cake Boruto thanked the waitress as she left
As Boruto was waiting a girl walked into the store, a brunette with black eyes approximately a few years older then him wearing a yellow top with black sweatpants and toeless sandals, as she walked in a lot of male heads turned towards her, she walked towards Boruto's table and asked, "is this spot occupied?"
Boruto quickly gestured to sit down, "please sit down"
The girl offered a smile and quickly sat down, the two sat in silence until the waitress brought Boruto's order, "can't I get anything for you ma'am?" Asked the waitress
"Some green tea would be nice" Replied the girl and after writing her order down the waitress left
"I see that you are popular amongst the male population" Asked Boruto taking a bite of his chocolate cake
"I'm surprised you don't know who I am" Replied the girl with a smile
"Yes unfortunately due to being occupied the past few months I have been unable to catch up with everything that had happen in the village in the past 10 years" sighed Boruto adding another think to the growing list of things to be done
"Well nice to meet you, my name is Ezra" Said the girl now known as Ezra
Boruto nodded as acknowledgement before speaking, "Boruto Uzumaki"
Ezra nodded her head then suddenly her eyes widened and said, "Uzumaki?! Are you by any chance related to Naruto-Sama and Hinata-Sama?!"
Boruto smiled before closing his eyes and replying, "even though I was very young the memory of my parents I remember very fondly"
"Parents? Didn't Naruto-Sama and Hinata-Sama only have a daughter?" Asked Ezra
Boruto shook his head, "I guess everyone remembered it that way, I am the oldest child of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki, I left the village at six years old then came back approximately two and a half months ago" explained Boruto as he took another bite of his half eaten chocolate cake
Ezra nodded just as the waitress bought her green tea, she took a sip of her drink and said, "so what do you do for a living? Or do you leech on your parents wealth and fame" with a smirk
Boruto rolled his eyes but could not help but smile at the insult, "unfortunately my parents sudden tragic end left no way for them to set their saving to be transferred to me so I'm forced to work"
Ezra laughed and said, "so what do you do?"
Boruto rose his hand and asked for the check which was almost immediately brought and paid for, Boruto stood up and said "that's for me to know and for you to find out" before beginning to walk away leaving a pouting brunette

Boruto exited the restaurant and looking at the streets noticed that even fewer people where still out in the streets, Boruto sighed and put his hands on his pockets before beginning to walk towards the house
He took a few steps and then noticed someone hold onto his arms, "need some company tonight?" Spoke a voice from his side
Turning to the side Boruto saw a girl his age but about 2 inches shorter then him with blond hair with light pink tips in a pony tail and violet eyes, she wore a dark blue top with the first button undone allowing a clear view of her cleavage along with a white skirt and black shoes, on her face was a clear fake forced smile
Turning around Boruto Asked, "What is your name?", "Aiko" Replied the girl
"Well Aiko shall we?" Asked Boruto holding out her arm for the girl to take, the girl hesitantly nodded and linked her arm with Boruto
Boruto and Aiko entered Boruto's neighbourhood, "this is your first time isn't it?" Asked Boruto
The girl nodded with her head down, Boruto could tell the girl was in tears for having to loose her purity, her innocence
"Don't worry we're not going to have sex..." Said Boruto as a way of comforting her
"Then where are we going?" Asked the girl looking at Boruto with her tears
"I'm going to let you stay at my place, and I just want you to answer some questions for me, is that alright?" Asked Boruto
The girl with a grateful look nodded, the two walked in silence to the Uzumaki residence
Entering the gate Boruto turned around so see Aiko's face and chuckled at seeing the amazement on her face
Holding the gate open Boruto invited her in she took a step inside and allowed Boruto to closed the gate, Boruto walked up to the main door before going through his pocket for his key, opening the door Boruto invited Aiko inside, once she had entered Boruto spoke, "Make your self comfortable"
Aiko nodded and began taking off her shoes, as she did so Boruto walked into the living room and began making some tea, just as he finished he was joined by Aiko
Boruto invited her to sit at the dinner table, once they both were settled in they began talking, "who is your...employer?" Asked Boruto
"His name is Mr. Renji but we have to call him master..." Replied the girl sadly
"Do you have any family?" Asked the blond to which the girl shook her head no
"If I may ask why did you have to walk this deep into the underworld?" Asked Boruto
The girl did not reply for a while, but then she looked away a began talking, "I was an orphan from birth, I don't know who my parents where...I was put in the orphanage, that was when I met Mr. Renji. He said that he could help me get a job and get a good future...I believed him and did what he asked...he asked me to become a child model, I made a little. Enough to pay a small rent and put something in my stomach then I grew up...from the age of 10 to 14 I spent from job to job barely making enough then on my 15 birthday Mr. Renji came and said that he could help...I thought it could be another modelling job or something but no it ended up being this...for the last one year I was taught how to pleasure my clients and flirt as well as do what ever the client wanted as long as he was paying...I graduated tonight...I was suppose to find a client and start my 'career'..." explained Aiko
As Aiko explained Boruto's anger boiled but with a calm voice Boruto began, "I'm sorry you had to go through all that...is there any way for me to help?"
The girl shook her head and spoke, "I really appreciate it I really do but unfortunately there's nothing you could do"
At this Boruto smiled sadly and said, "it getting late, shall I lead you to your room?" To which the girl shook her head once again
She got up to leave that was when Boruto had an idea, "I think I maybe able to help you"
At this the girl froze on her tracks and asked, "how?"
"Please take me to Mr. Renji" Asked Boruto with smile
"May I ask who you are?" Asked Aiko
"My name is Boruto Uzumaki But I think you'll know me better as...Yami" Replied Boruto

Aiko lead Boruto through some alley ways in the old Konoha area that had not been renovated yet, as he followed the brunette he saw multiple girl in revealing out fits and make up lined against the wall smoking or drinking or doing drugs but as Boruto and Aiko walked through the alley way every girl turned towards them and stared at them as they passed through
The alley way was filled with trash and had pot holes filled with water, and their where fires lit in drums to provide light and warmth, the place smelled of sex and sweat, 'so girls must bring their clients here instead of going to their homes' thought Boruto, most girl were buzzed up or drunk, a part of him felt sorry for the girl, the duo stopped infront of a back door to a building, "Mr. Renji will be their, we girls aren't allowed inside" spoke Aiko
"You might want to come in with me this time" Said Boruto holding out his hand, Aiko looked around and saw the other girls looking at them, turning back to Boruto she very slowly took his hand
Boruto opened the door and held it open for Aiko, once she entered Boruto followed behind, entering Boruto saw a red hallway with pictures on the wall and black carpet along with a dark oak wood door on the other side, Boruto looked that Aiko, the girl was shaking
Boruto put a hand on her shoulder and she almost jumped, "don't worry I won't let anything hurt you"
The brunette looked at Boruto and slowly nodded once, Boruto reaches into his hoddies pocket and pulled out a Matt black porcelain mask with no holes what so ever, the mask was designed so that the person wearing it does not need a hole to breath or see and can see perfectly clear from the inside it was the village's scientific teams latest inventions, as well as pull his hood up completing his Yami outfit
Boruto put his hand in his hoodie pocket walked up to the door on the other side of the hallway and kicked the door off its hinges, as soon as he did so he saw two men run at him to attack, with his hand still in his hoodie pockets Boruto jumped to the air and spun kicked one of the men in the face sending him to wards a side wall, still in the air Boruto did a front flip and drop kicked the second man into the ground, straightening him self up he looked behind him to check if Aiko was alright and was glad to see she was unharmed returning his gaze infront of him he saw an obese man in a suit with rings on each of his fingers who looked as if he was going to soil his suit pants sitting in a chair in front of a wooden desk, looking around the room Boruto saw that it was decorated with expensive furniture and nick naks
"You must be Mr. Renji" spoke Boruto his voice the same as his Yami voice, "Yami-Sama, What brings you to my humble office?" Asked the obese man
"Well you see I heard you were running a prostitute ring and were recruiting gullible orphan girl and that doesn't sit well with me so I came to clean this mess up" Replied Boruto holding up his right arm and letting lightning course through it and took a step towards the man just then the pungent smell of urea filled the room nearly making Boruto gag
"Please Yami-Sama! Please let me live! You can have all the girls you want! Just let me live!" Begged the man
"Well you see I kill you another twenty ring leaders will be found and I kill them another hundred with me found and there will be no end to it" Said Boruto and Renji could feel a little hope shimmer in his heart but Boruto immediately stomped on it and said, "But I'll kill you and there will be once less piece of scum in this world"
The obese man's eyes bulged, "please!! Please!! I'll give you anything!! I'll release all the girls so that they can find lives of their own!! Just let me live!!" Begged the man
"Oh how I love hearing scum like you beg, but in the end it all end the same way" Said Boruto before holding on to the man's head and frying his brain
After the man was head Boruto dropped the man head and turned around and saw a frightened Aiko, taking off his mask and dropping his hood Boruto spoke, "I'm sorry you had to see that"
Aiko just kept staring at the dead man's body, "he's dead, your free, go be free, go make a life" Said Boruto turning his head and staring a the dead body
The girl looked at Boruto and saw him smile, Aiko nodded once and turned around and left
Boruto sighed and thought, "now to leave a message for his little ring"

After Boruto was done creating his little message Boruto went back to his house, the sun was almost up and Boruto had rings around his eyes, Boruto walked into his home and took a shower to freshen up before putting on his jonin uniform and left to the Hokage's mansion for his mission briefing and something in him told him that he wouldn't be able to sleep for a few more hours causing him to sigh for the umpteenth time that dawn
