(3) The Conversion

Arnold

Naglalakad na ako sa hallway ng classroom namin ng may sumabat sa akin na isang grade 11 student. Nalaman ko na grade 11 student siya dahil sa color ng I.D. niya. Yes, each grade level here has its own colors kaya madali mong malalaman kung anong year level niya na.
"Good morning President!", masayang bati nito sa akin.
"Good morning too"
"I would like to give you a proposal about the recent killings here in CAMHIGH.",she calmly said
"So,what's your name?",tanong ko
"My name is Sheryl Zyra Alimuin. I am a student of 11-ABM 3.
"K, meet me later at my office this 9:00am",sabi ko

Malapit na mag 9:30 wala pa rin si Sheryl. Ano pa kaya ang ginagawa niya? Paalis na sana ako ng office ng may narinig akong kumakatok sa pinto.

"Come in!", I shouted
"Ohh sorry Mr. President I am late because......
"Because what?", pagputol ko sa kanyang sasabihin
"Because I had my thesis subject", matipid nitong sabi.
"

So what's your proposal?"
"My proposal is we need to have a blue ribbon commitee that will help on investigating the recent killings here in CAMHIGH. Also, to rebuilt peace once again"
"Who can be the members of this commitee and who can lead them?"
"I recommend Loki Mendez as the leader and recruit his own members"
"Ok I agree in one condition"
"What condition Mr. President?"
"I want you to be the Vice President of the student council."
"What!?", napasigaw siya sa sobrang gulat-siguro
"Since I have not yet assigned some high ranking officers, you'll be the first one"
"But----"
"No more buts", pinutol ko ang mga sasabihin niya dahil mukhang marami siyang ipuputak after "but".
"Ok I'll accept your offer", she calmly said

*TIME LEAP*
2 days later, anouncing of the newly elected officers.
Lahat ng mga officers pwera lang sa VP ay mga miyembro ni Erald sa organisasyon or should I say"Moriarty".
Si Sheryl naman na mukhang hindi pa sanay sa dirty world of politics ay nakatulala sa napakaraming estudyante ng CAMHIGH.
As we pledge to the our over populated school may biglang nangyaring di kaaya aya.

"Aakk", narinig ko bago magkumpulan ang mga tao.

"Uyy! Anong nangyari sa kanya?", tanong ng isang babae na blonde ang buhok
"Palagay ko nalason siya", sabi ng isang lalaki-teka? Si Loki ba yon?
"The poison is called WOLFSBANE or ACONITE. It is an acient poison used by warrior in their arrows.",proud nitong sabi.
"Sa sitwasyon na ito, hindi isang palaso ang tumama kundi isang needle loaded with poison"
"Siya nga pala anong pangalan ng biktima?",pag change topic niya.
"He is Bastien Montenegro, a member from hand to hand combat club.", sabi ng isang lalaki na mukhang kaklase niya.
"Mga anong oras niyo siya nakitang mag collapse at mamatay?",tanong ni Loki.
"Around 9:00-9:30", sabi ng lalaking katabi ni Loki.
"Mayroon ba siyang mga kaaway?",pahirit ni Loki.
"Meron", tipid na sagot ng babae
"How many?", follow up question ng ating detective.
"3"
"Can you please call them?", he commanded
"K"

Malapit na mag 11:00 ng makita na namin na may kasama siyang tatlong lalaki.
"Introduce yourselves", utos nanaman niya.
"I'm Lou Madrigalejos classmate of Bastien Montenegro"
"I'm Ken Dy his clubmate"
"I'm Vince Gloom his bestfriend"
"Also, who are you miss?"tanong ni Loki sa babae.
"Candice Sweet girlfriend of the victim",
"Ok, let's start, Mr. Luke where were you last 9:00-9:30am?", Loki started his interogation.
"First of all, Lou as in L-O-U not Luke. Second, I was at the Student Grievance Commitee having detention",galit nitong sabi.
"Can there be someone who witnessed that you were there?", tanong ni Loki
"Yes"
"Well who is that?"
"Eren Jaguar, the leader of student grievance commitee"
"Please call him"

Makaraan ang 20 minutes ay may nakita kaming isang matipunong lalaki at may well-toned body siya.
"So Mr. Jaguar did you saw Mr. Madrigalejos went outside of your office?", tanong agad ni Loki.
"No, he's crying to be free out of detention for today because he uses his excuses as of he has a date today."
"K", tipid ni Loki na sagot.
"Next is Mr. Candy. Where were you that time?", diretsahang sabi nito.
"I was at the library ", tipid naman nitong sagot.
"Can someone prove that you were there?",tinanong niya ito habang may tinitingnan siya sa tagiliran ng biktima.
"None, there was no one at the library that time except the librarian. I think that the librarian does not bother if there are students coming in the library so she ca'nt notice me."
"Again,please call her for a statement"

3 minutes after Loki commanded Mr. Dy kasama niya na nga ang babaeng librarian.
"So Ms. Librarian, have you noticed Mr. Candy inside the library?", cool nitong sabi.
"No, I remembered only that 3 journalism students with cameras are inside the library. Also, I remembered that there is one student that is not using a camera but a straw.",mahabang sagot ng librarian.
"Thanks for your cooperation ma'am!", masigla ni Loki na sabi na parang na solve niya na ang case.
"Now for the final touches......", creepy nitong ngiti.
"The investigation is now done",he shouted.
"Who's the culprit?", halos sabay-sabay nilang tanong.
"The culprit is..... you!", sabay turo kay Kan Dy.
"Huh? How can you say that?", gulat nitong sabi.
"You were the one Mr. Montenegro told for killing him. Why? He's holding a candy and his right thumb is pointed at the library which is... actually at the second floor. Why again? The library is the perfect spot for killing someone with a needle with a poison. You just need air pressure right?"

Di nagtagal umamin na ang suspect sa ginawa niya, also, maraming pumuri kay Loki.
After the incident, nagpatuloy pa rin ang induction of officers.
"Let us now welcome the newly elected officers!", sabing lalaking emcee.
"For the position of President, Arnold V. Geronimo", malakas nitong sabi habang naghihiyawan ang mga estudyante.
"Also, for his partner today until to the end of terms!, Ms. Sheryl Zyra Alimuin!, habang pinapakilala siya, may pa kaway-kaway pa siyang nalalaman.

Natapos na ang induction of officers at pauwi na ako sa dorm ng may marinig akong mga kaluskos.
"S-Sino ka?!", tanong ko habang hindi pa rin tumitigil ang mga kaluskos.
"Hahhahahha!"
Ang tawang yon imposibleng di ako magkamali.
"Eraaaald!",galit kong sabi.
"Ehh? Ba't mo nalaman??",nagtatakang tanong niya.
"Malamang tawa ka ng tawa eh, kakainis!", I said as he smirk right in front of me.
"What do you like again?", tamad kong tanong .
"I want to watch over your Vice President, I feel something weird so watch over her if you dont want me to kill her.",he commanded.

Makaraan ang tatlong araw nagsimula na ang mga suggestions ng mga estudyante and our Vice President is M.I.A.(missing in action)

Sinabihan ko na si Loki na hanapin niya si Sheryl bilang kasapi ng Execom at Blue Ribbon.

Loki's POV
Saan ko kaya hahanapin yung babaeng yon? Napaka happy-go-lucky naman! Nakakainis!
Tumingin-tingin ako sa mga classrooms sa dinadaanan kong corridor at nasorpresa ako ng makita ko siya sa MAPEH faculty kasama si Sir Levi.
Lalapitan ko na san siya ng may makita akong nahulog mula sa 3rd floor na isang babae.
Mabilis nagkumpolan lahat na mga tao at sinabihan ko na wag lumapit masyado sa corpse.
"Walang lalapit sa bangkay hanggang di dumadating ang mga police baka may mahawakan kayo na makakaconfirm ng isang theory",malakas kong sinigaw lahat ng iyon.
"Teka sino ba siya?"
"Napaka detective wannabe naman niya!"
"Napaka epal"
Naiinis na ako sa mga sinasabi nila at inaangat ko ang aking mga kamay and let them saw my blue armband.
"I am the leader of the newly made blue ribbon commitee and the leader of EXECOM, pagdiin ko
Mukhang naamaze sila dahil ang blue ribbon ay nasa mga prestigious schools in the country.
"Sino bang nakasaksi dito?", tanong ko agad.
Pumunta sa akin ang tatlong tao, isang lalake at dalawang babae.
"Introduced yourseves", I commanded
"I am Melanie Santos", sagot agad ng babae.
"I'm Janna Soltez"
"I'm Rafael Ignacio"
"So Ms. Melanie Santos what time did you see the victim falling down from the bulding. Also, where were you that time?", tanong ko
"I was at the second floor of the building passing some projects to Ma'am Shayne"
"Can someone prove that you were there?"
"Ask ma'am Shayne yourself.", calmly said.

So guys sorry talaga for the late update I'm so busy and only I have very limited time to do so but after 3 days the updates will be fast chapter by chapter is half by half of a day.
