A Location

Miranda's phone was to her ear as soon as the shrill sound of her ringtone filled her hotel room. She took a deep breath before being able to answer properly, it was Joe who was on the other end and she prayed he had some type of good news for her.

''What have you got for me?'' She asked, nervously swinging her legs back and forth in front of her on the bed.

''I found that the man that took them was definitely Clara's brother Jasper and I know where to find him,'' Miranda's heart leapt, and the blood rushed to her head so much she begun to wonder if the agent was actually telling the truth or she was just hearing what she wanted to hear.

''Wait did you just say you know where they are because if so, the next time I see you I might kiss you,'' Miranda replied.

''Well I don't know about the kissing, but yeah I think. Look I've managed to pull up CCTV footage from the last twenty-four hours and the same van Jasper used was seen on near enough every camera I looked at. I'm hoping that where it is now is where they are,'' Joe explained as best he could, a little overwhelmed by how excited his boss appeared to be at his breakthrough.

''Have you got an address or a picture of where they could be?''

''I'll give you the address, but don't get your hopes too high they could have just ditched the van you know,'' he commented.

''I know, but it's the only lead that anyone in the entire operation has at the moment. so thank you, Joe, and see if you can work on how Jasper managed to get out of the secure unit he was in, maybe background check the staff see if any match the identities of the men seen at the club. I have a feeling it had to be an inside job,'' Miranda didn't even wait for a reply before she hung up, beginning to dial another number into her phone.

''Tory, I have some information that the both of us will find rather useful and in the circumstances I'd like to tell you that it was one of my agents so they will get full credit if what they found means this investigation is put to an end,'' Miranda was rather straight to the point as she really didn't have time for any formalities due to the situation that they were in.

Tory gulped, leaning backwards in his swivel chair as Miranda filled him in on all the details concerning Jasper Taylors. It was at that moment he realised that his entire involvement in the case rested on one of his agents being involved. The notion scaring him, that a dangerous convicted criminal, who had murders under his name, had harmed his only agent in what Tory saw as a hostage situation.

Clara started up at Micheal as the answer to Jaspers question didn't seem to come. She sighed, standing up beginning to pass back and forth on his left side, which would have been her right. Her arms were folded in front of her as she walked, trying to drown out Jasper's voice. Jasper had resulted in asking the question to Micheal over and over again because he was already pretty beat up that any more damage to him probably would do anything as he was already so numb from the previous pain that had been conflicted on him.

''Jasper stop,'' at the sheer volume of her voice, Jasper stopped turning to look at her. His eyes were wide as he titled his head to look at her, the command wasn't something he had expected her to say.

''Have you got any other ways of getting the location out of him Cici because be my guest,'' Jasper spread his arms out in front of him gesturing towards Micheal, whose head hung down to his neck. Clara was sure she could hear snoring coming from the man. Her suspicions were proved right when she reached a tentative hand out pushing his head, which just lulled back and forth.

''Maybe waking him up might work?'' She suggested with a shrug. At her comment, Jasper bent down and saw for himself that Micheal had indeed fallen asleep.
