If anybody passed the alley the two high schoolers were currently lurking in they would have thought they were up to no good, probably in cahoots with some underground gang or villains. That was the type of alley it was; nothing good happened there. Streets away from the main hub of the city, where the building grew more derelict and lights flickered. To be honest, the people who would pass by the alley probably weren't up to much good either. That, or they couldn't afford the high rent prices closer to the city center and had to settle on a place a bit further away. They knew to keep their head down as the passed, to not draw attention to themselves. Because no matter how you looked at it, those kids were up to something, especially the one with the scowl and loathing you could feel from miles away. And when the shadow of an adult approached you just knew something bad was going to happen. At least...that's what it looked like to an outsider.

"Are you sure this is the right place, man?" Kirishima asked yet again, turning around in a circle to observe their surroundings. "I mean, we've been here for a while and nothing has happened."

Bakugo threw him a glare, "You didn't have to come along."

"Yeah, right. If I didn't you'd blow the whole thing the moment someone does show up, and probably get yourself captured again."

"Shut up," he growled. He wasn't wrong, this was the area where a disturbance would be reported, and obviously they weren't waiting exactly where it happened, but he was starting to wonder if their presence had scared whoever it was off.

It was one of the minor things he had remembered reading about before he was sent back, witnesses had heard a loud conversation between two or more people, which escalated into a rough fight. Of course, given the area and how there were rumours that villainous gangs used the old buildings as hide outs, those kind of situations weren't all that surprising. It was the nature of the conversation that had worried the civilian who happened to overhear. Talks of bombs and mass destruction. It was a small thing, easily overlooked by the police, and certainly not threatening enough to get the pro-heroes involved. But, they were very close to where explosions had happened, where the fights broke out. Where Deku died.

He had told Aizawa that he would stay put, leave it up the pros to deal with. And for a few hours he had intended on doing just that. It was easier that way. But just because it was easy, didn't make it right, not to him anyway. Not when Deku was laughing in front of him now, when he could feel his warm body in his arms. When he was able to kiss and touch him. He had so much more to lose this time round, so how could he just stay still?

Kirishima smacked his arm painfully, and pointed to the figure approaching them before Bakugo could curse at him. Instantly his fingers flexed, building up his quirk. Kirishima did the same, hardening his arms and chest in case he needed to deflect or shield Bakugo.

"You kids should be in bed."

Relief seeped through them at the bored drawl of Eraser-heads voice.

"What are you doing here, sir?" Kirishima asked happily.

"That should be my question. I believe I told you to leave this to me."

"Yeah that wasn't going to happen," Bakugo grumbled.

Eraser-head sighed loudly. "Well, come on then, you two aren't good at staking out."

For the first time in his life Bakugo shut the door to his room quietly. After watching the area for another ninety minutes they had finally witnessed the encounter, and overheard what the needed to hear. Afterwards, taking the opportunity of the almost empty streets, Bakugo walked Aizawa and Kirishima through what happened...or could happen, showing them exactly what areas where hit the worst, how far the blast spread, where the fights he knew about occurred. But even though his memory was exceptionally good, he was only one person who had been fighting in the large area. He had only seen a fraction of what went down. They all knew that, but as it was Bakugo was the only person, in that time, who had the most information.
