Jason's POV:
I woke up rather late the next day, 1 o'clock. I lifted my head to see who my arm was around and then remembered it was Kylie. I also began to feel the bruises and soreness from the fight I had last night.
What did we even fight about again? Oh right, the alpha spot.
Everyone's been trying to steal that spot right from under me but everybody knows I am the rightful owner. I've earned my place fair and square.
I'd love to see someone try and take it again because In the end, I always win.
I got up and stretched, throwing on a pair of sweat pants and slowly made my way ,downstairs.
I noticed how Bruce was already awake and making coffee.
"Good morning Jason, sleep well?" He spoke.
I glanced over, "Yes I did, in fact it was the best sleep I've ever had. Thanks for asking!" I said sarcastically.
He laughed while throwing the bacon on a pan and setting the timer. Bruce always cooked breakfast in the mornings, considering nobody can cook in this house.
Sooner or later the rest of the guys came down, along with Tyler.
I watched as he didn't say a word to anyone the whole time. He minded his business for once, maybe I taught him a lesson.
"So uh, what's new?" I asked bruce once we all got settled and had our food.
"Well, there's a possible threat at Mill-Brook high, some guy called Troy. He's supposedly the 'baddest' around." He spoke with humor and sarcasm.
We all laughed at the thought of someone being better than us. If you haven't noticed, yes we all are narcissistic.
"Not for long, we need to put him in his damn place." Nick added.
Michael then spoke up, "Yeah I agree, we're the ones who run this town. Im not gonna let some new guy walk right in and steal our glory."
My raised my eyebrows surprised that he actually agreed with us for once.
Michael or 'Mike' for short, usually doesn't enjoy all the fighting and death involved with what we do. That's why he deals with location and money, while we do the dirty work.
Don't get me wrong, he still does his fair share. Without him, we'd all look like chickens running with their heads cut off so nobody really try's to mess with him.
Plus he could outsmart all of our brains put together.
I shook my head smiling, "Alright alright I know. I'll handle it, its only one guy right?" I asked Bruce again.
"As far as I know, yes but you can't walk up in there and blow him up. There might be more men, hell he might have a whole gang. Be smart Jason, we all know what happens when you think off of rage." He scolded. "Remember last time??"
I shot my hands up in surrender, "Gotcha, no rage fighting!" I chuckled as the rest did too, besides Tyler.
He kept the same blank stare the whole time and it was really pissing me off.
"Well, i'd love to stay and chat but, I have a busy day ahead of me." Michael spoke.
"Yea, me too. That tv won't watch itself!" Nick added walking behind Mike.
Sooner or later it was just Tyler, Bruce and I sitting in an awkward silence.
"Uh I'm gonna change... be right back!" Bruce spoke, noticing the awkward tension Tyler and I held.
