"No more sleeping." Jamie thought.
As he opened his eyes he saw a young woman kneeling over him on the verge of tears. She had emerald green eyes and short brown hair.
"You must be Emily." He thought.
Emily gritted her teeth in anger.
"Don't move, this time I'll protect you." She said.
Emily took the thumper out of Jamie's hand and got in some form of a fighting stance. Keeping in between Jamie and Sarah.
"Out of the way bitch, I need to wake Jamie up." Sarah said.
"No! I won't let you hurt him anymore." Emily shrieked.
Sarah scoffed. "Fine, I'll just break you til you can't move."
Emily prepared herself as Sarah bolted down the hall, the hammer and thumper clashing.
Sarah was pushing Emily back, but Emily refused to back down.
Jack was always there for her...
Now it was her turn to be there for him.
With a hard shove, Sarah forced Emily to the ground.
Sarah brought the hammer up over her head, ready to crush anything in her way.
She brought it down and Emily managed to stop it with a guard but the force was too much.
The hammer broke right through Jamie's thumper sending Emily to the floor again.
"Stop trying to fight, you aren't half as strong as me.
Just stay down and break already." Sarah brought the hammer up again.
"Say goodbye!" She smiled and brought it down with all her might.
Time seemed to slow right there for Emily.
"I... I can't stop her... Jack.
I'm sorry." Emily closed her eyes and smiled.
"I guess I'll never tell you how I feel..."...
"Huh?" When Emily opened her eyes again she saw that the hammer was stopped.
"Jamie?" Sarah gasped.
With an iron grip, Jamie had grabbed the bar of the hammer and stopped Sarah's attack.
Emily saw his hair change once more.
The red was being consumed by the black and soon enough all that was left were red tips.
Something in him had changed.
When Jamie opened his eyes...
Sarah saw that his left eye shined a bright crimson.
His right was a dull grey.
"You're awake... finally." Sarah said.
Jamie pulled hard on the hammer, pulling Sarah towards him.
In a flash Jamie slammed a fist into Sarah's stomach, effectively knocking the wind out of her.
She let go of her hammer and Jamie swiftly kicked her back down the hall.
He then turned back to check on Emily.
"Are you okay Em?" Jamie asked.
"I'm fine, but are you? You seem different all of a sudden..." Emily shook a little in fear at the almost enraged and vile vibe Jamie emitted.
"You... aren't my Jack... are you?" She asked him.
Jamie looked down and shook his head. "No... he's... he's gone inside. Don't ask, it'd be hard to explain." Jamie said.
"So... is your name... Jamie?" Emily asked again.
Jamie nodded this time.
"Erk... th-that really hurt Jamie, ya know?" Sarah said.
Jamie turned around ready to knock Sarah down again.
She didn't have her hammer now but she still got up.
Sarah seemed happy that Jamie was awake once more, but enraged from the blow.
Her eyes flashed a bright red as she blazed down the hall once more.
Prepared, Jamie readied for her attack.
As soon as Sarah let her fist fly Jamie caught it with ease, pulled her in again and drilled her in the jaw with a fist of his own.
This was enough to knock her out with out seriously injuring her.
"Damn, just stay down this time will ya?" Jamie huffed.
Putting his hands in his pockets he walked back to Emily.
"Can you stand?" He asked.
"Yeah." She got back on her feet.
She was breathing a little harder, she must've been hurt from fighting.
"I'll be fine, let's go get Jill back." Emily smiled.
Jamie nodded in agreement and the two took towards the upper floors.
Lucky for them, they haven't come across any other members. With no sign of Jill or other members, they finally reached the roof of the power plant.
Sure enough, there was a figure in a black coat standing before Jamie and Emily.
"Ah, there's a different vibe about you buddy, have you finally woke up?" The figure spoke.
"I'm guessing this is what you're after?" The figure pulled around Jill by her hair.
"Big brother..." She whimpered.
"I'm coming Jill, just hold on." Jamie said.
He then turned to the figure in the coat.
"Let's see, Sarah's downstairs out cold on the floor. You aren't as big as Louis so you can't be him." He scoffed.
"Ah, you're much smarter then you were when we were little huh?" The figure pulled down his hood.
Underneath was a young man with black hair and red eyes.
He wore glasses.
"Know who I am now?" The man spoke.
"Yeah, who else would be an asshole to have such a plan other than you.
Zack." Jamie huffed.
"Ah yes! There it is!
The hateful attitude you always gave me." Zack smirked.
Jamie cracked his finger.
"Now, I'm only gonna be nice once.
Give Jill to me." Jamie spoke in a demanding tone.
"Here, I just needed her to wake up my test subject from his slumber." Zack smiled as he threw Jill over to Jamie.
"Emily, grab Jill and get back.
Zack's in for a class A ass beating." Jamie cracked his finger again.
"Hey, Jill you okay?" Emily asked.
Jill just nodded and the two of them got away from the roof.Zack cracked his own finger this time.
"A class A ass beating huh?" He smirked.
"Come then, let's see if you've gotten stronger." Zack snapped his fingers and out of nowhere a massive man in a members cloak slammed into the roof.
Jamie managed to avoid the attack, suspecting that the figure came from around one of the walls sitting up there.
"And which one are you?" Jamie crossed his arms, getting impatient with all the nonsense.
The member stood back up, a massive build, much bigger than Jamie.
Jamie stretched a little, hopped on the balls of his feet and cracked his finger once more.
"Alright big guy, let's go." He smiled.
The figure swung first, much too slow, for Jamie easily backed away and counter with a blow to the chest.
The member didn't budge.
"Oh. Well shit." Jamie said as the member grabbed his wrist and flung him around like a doll.
"Hmm, alright. Guess it's time to get serious." Jamie popped his neck ready to go another round.
The member charged wildly, this time he swung faster but Jamie dodged every fist, though the last one grazed his chin.
Jamie felt the heat from the friction on his chin.
"Calm down..." he thought.
"If I get too wild, this won't end well."
Jamie balled his fists and bent his knees, he planned to hit the member hard enough to make him drop.
The member rushed again, when he swung Jamie ducked.
He put everything her had into this next strike, with the force of his entire being, Jamie hit the member with a mighty uppercut.
Hard enough for the member to finally drop.
"Whew, finally." Jamie cracked his finger again then stuffed his hands in his pockets.
Looking around the rooftop Zack was nowhere to be seen.
"Tch, slippery bitch." Jamie mumbled.
He ran to the stair well, making his way back down to the main hall.
When he got there, Jamie noticed Sarah was gone.
He made his way out the entrance doors to find Jill sitting on the steps holding her head.
"Jill, where did the other members go?
And where's Emily?" Jill did speak she only pointed to a silhouette across the street.
It was Zack, hiding amongst the shadows.
"Come out!
I know you're there." Jamie yelled.
"Alright alright, you found me." Zack spoke.
Just as Jamie feared, over Zack's shoulder was Emily...
He must've knocked her out because when she came to she started thrashing about trying to get out of his grasp.
"Put me down!" She cried.
"Don't worry Emily!" Jamie said.
"Everything's going to be fine." He mumbled.
Jamie's crimson eye flared in the night, he had just woke up and everything was already fucked.
"How about you put the girl down and we go a round?" Jamie gave a evil smirked.
"After all, isn't the whole "damsel in distress" thing a little cliche?" He said.
"You know, you're right." Zack said as he threw Emily to the ground.
"Guess it's time for me to join the fight..." Zack smiled.
He took off his glasses and tucked them away neatly in his coat.
"Let's go."A few moments pass...
Soon in a blur Jamie and Zack begin to trade blows.
Fists were flying, as faces were being punched, and within a few minutes they back off each other.
"Huh, who would of thought you'd be not just stronger, but more skilled after being trapped in that stupid head for yours for nearly twenty years." Zack smiled, cocky and confident written all over his face.
"I've always been stronger than all of you. I've only gained skill after letting Jack take over." Jamie scoffed.
"Well, it's obvious I can't beat you right now, you're in a rage so I can't knock you out right here. You'll just keep getting back up." Zack continued.
"So for now, this is goodbye.
But I'll be watching you." He smiled one last smile then tossed what must've been a smoke bomb to the ground...When the smoke cleared, Zack was gone.
"Damn, he got away." Jamie mumbled.
He turned back around and collected Jill and Emily.
"You two okay?" He asked.
Jill didn't speak but did nod.
"I'm alright just a little shook up." Emily answered.
Jamie ran a hand through his hair.
The awakened rage he woke up in leaving him. His left eye has turned dull grey once more.
Breathing a sigh Jamie said."Lets go home."
