This hunt was a little different. The Winchesters normally encountered the odd and supernatural, but this was even a little weird for them. When newspapers started headlining mysterious disappearances, they knew it was their kind of gig. Thankfully, the headline was from a local newspaper, so they didn’t have to travel long to get there.

“Hey, check this out.” Sam said as he tossed the newspaper to his brother Dean.

He read the newspaper as he swallowed his mouth full of burger. “Looks like our kind of gig.” He tossed the paper back at Sam, who read it over again There must’ve been something surprising on the paper, because as he took a swig from his beer, he choked. Dean freaking out jumped up and ran over to him, helping him.

“I’m okay Dean.” Sam held his hand up, as if to say I’m okay. “This is surprising though.” He pointed at the paper and read aloud. “The disappearances happened randomly, with each location having a statue nearby.”

“Statues are all over the place Sammy, how is this surprising?”

“I don’t know, actually, I think I read about it.” Sam pulled out his laptop and began looking for an article on the web. “Bingo” Within minutes he found the page.

It was a strange page, a page that looked like it was made by a crazed fan. The page read The Angel statues atop a very long paragraph, including pictures and locations.

“These things are creepy” Dean was hovering over Sam, looking with him at the pictures and the writing.

“They move, by themselves.” Sam said to Dean. They both shared looks of extreme worry, how on earth was this possible? They had versed creatures of the unnatural before but this, this was way different. “I think the disappearances are linked to these things.”

“I hope to god they’re not” Dean backed away from Sam and the laptop, nervously sitting back on his bed, staring at the ground with wide open eyes. What are they?
