I walked behind the party, it was annoying, and I didn't want to be here, however I also wanted to make sure my cousin and brother didn't die.

They were watching the party full of teenagers and twenty something year olds, this was definitely a Freeridge party.

I wasn't paying attention to any of them, I was typing away on my phone. I glanced up and saw they all had a beer in front of them. "Ruby, Omar!" They looked at me.

"Not to many." I told him, glancing back at my phone.
"I know."

Within the next few minutes, I heard someone gasping for air. I looked up and saw Ruby, a Santo was holding onto him by the throat, Sad eyes. He was one of my brothers least favorite friends, and I agreed. I stood up and stood by Cesar.

"Hey ass hat, could you maybe drop my cousin?" I asked him. Then another Santo, Victor came up. He looked at sad eyes and ruby before tapping Ruby and looking up.

"What are you doing ese that's spooky's little bro. And thats Chains' little bro, and the one you holding onto is his cousin." Sad eyes dropped my cousin now. I didn't know if he didn't realize me, or if he was being an arrogant asshole, but I also didn't care.

"Hey my bad bro. Tell y'all brothers Sad Eyes sends respect." He told us. Ruby ran over to us and I wrapped an arm around him. Cesar and Omar nodded, I rolled my eyes.

"Thank god for your brothers." Ruby told us.
"No, thank god for better things." Cesar said. Just then, gun shots. I quickly got behind them and ushered them out of the party, taking them to my car. They all hopped in and I drove, fast.

I drove them to Ruby's house. Tia Geny wasn't home, so there was no way she could know what happened, or at least that they were at that stupid ass party.

After I dropped them off, I went back to my apartment. I shared it with two of my best friends, Elliot and Liam, I have known them forever. We met each other in the first grade, and it hasn't changed since.

When my mom and dad first met Liam, they thought he was a white boy, and his mom just wanted a taste of the "hood life".

However, when they actually met his dad, they found out he was Santo, and he was Argentinian, and therefore, so was Liam, he just had a white boy name, and then his mom was a bitch that forced him to have her maiden name.

When I walked into my apartment, my two best friends looked at me. "What was it this time?" Elliot asked me, tossing her black hair over her shoulders. I rolled my eyes, she knew I was technically babysitting, and when something like that happened with my cousin, or my brother, something bad always happened.

"Party, gun." Was all I said before flopping onto the couch with them. I rested my head on her shoulder. Elliot gave Liam a look and he nodded, getting up to make popcorn, like he always did when we all hung out. Tonight would be good.

Monse wanted me to talk to Omar, because I guess Cesar said something, and everyone but her knew. I hated being in the middle of fourteen year old drama, I'm a grown ass girl and I'm working out fourteen year old problems.

I called Omar. "Hey sissy." I could hear his smile through the phone.
"Hey can we talk?"

"I always have time for you Issy." He told me happily. It was always obvious I was his favorite.
"So, what did Cesar say about Monse?"
