They parted ways at the doctors offices door that.
"Good bye mam" the man said leaning over and kissing her softly on the top of her hand,
"Will I see you around?" "I make no promises." The lady says smiling has she turns waving over her shoulder,
"I'll see you around James."Marilyn says limping into the building his coat still draped around her.
She was an angel,

She matches what god has always said.
That they are light,
That They are good. And that's how he felt about her.
That she was light. She was an angel with a halo but no wings.

They wouldn't meet again for years after that.
But in 1969 they would meet again.
Marilyn had recovered from her mental break down, and had gotten her life back on track.
James was a photographer. He gave up his temp job. Deciding to do what he loved instead.
The memory of there in counter was forgotten by both.
Which, is why when James was asked by his boss to photograph a "celebrity"
On vacation at the beach, Nothing seemed special.
