5 Days after Lauren's disappearance

Lauren's 22nd birthday group chat

D: Have you seen the news? It's all over it.

N: I refuse to admit that Ty had something to do with it. He was so concerned about Laur...He would never do anything like this.

D: It might be him. Did you ever wonder why he was right about everything. He knew something happened to her, maybe because he was involved?

N: No he wouldn't. He was in love with her...he wouldn't do this.

D: Maybe he got a taxi back and tired to make a move on her and she pushed him away and maybe he just lost it. We have no idea what happened that night.

N: That is just an assumption and we don't know how did yet without the autopsy results. Mila, have you heard anything?

C: I haven't heard anything yet, but I'll contact her mom later on today.

1PM

C: Just talked to her mom the autopsy results are in. It's bad guys, really bad.

L: Do I even want to hear this?

C: This is what her mother said, "They found significant head trauma and in her body remnants they found what they think is a thick tree branch. They believe she was hit over the head with force about 7 or 8 times and the blows eventually killed her. They said she would of been knocked unconscious after the 2nd or 3rd time so it would have been over quickly."

N: I actually think I'm going to be sick...

C: They said whoever killed her wasn't a killer just someone who lost control.

N: I just don't think it was Ty.

C: He lied to us about the cab. Why lie if you've done nothing wrong...

N: We don't even know what's happening to him yet do we?

D: We know that night he was in the taxi with her, which means he was one of the last people to see her alive, if not the last.

C: Guys there is more.

N: What is it?

C: Apparently Lauren was pregnant.

N: Wait? Pregnant what the hell?

C: I know I'm in shock. Her mom just told me. Lauren and I were laying in her bed just last week talking about if we wanted kids or not...

N: Was she even seeing anyone?

C: Not that I know of. She would usually crawl into bed with me if something had happened badly but she had been really happy lately....But I guess they're probably thinking that it is Ty's.

N: No Lauren wasn't sleeping with him. Ty wouldn't of reacted by killing her. He would of been overjoyed.

C: Maybe she didn't want to keep it so she didn't intend too, and he freaked out. After all she was drinking that night, why drink if you know you're pregnant?

N: Unless she didn't know herself. God this is getting worse.

6PM

T: Guys before you say anything I wanted to be first to tell you I had nothing to do with Lauren's murder. I promise you that. I've been caught up in this situation. I swear on my mom's life I would NEVER hurt Lauren. I wouldn't.

N: You were released?!

D: Released pending farther enquiries.

D: You lied to us...Why lie about the taxi?

T: I had to! I promised her I wouldn't tell anyone. Then when everyone was saying they were looking for the person she got into the cab with it was too late. I didn't feel good. I could of told the truth but you all would of thought it was me...

C: Why go home with her anyway?

T: I left the club to get some food. I ate the food and by the time I had finished I started walking back. She shouted at me from the cab and told me to get in. She started telling me she'd been sleeping with someone and she had just found out she was pregnant about a week ago, but she decided to get rid of it. She was 8 weeks along and I was shocked, I asked her if she had discussed with the father, (because huge decision) and she said that she hadn't. So I told her that she should. We stopped outside the park and she said she was gonna go and meet with the father. We said goodbye and I got another cab home. I should of stayed with her though. I shouldn't of left her there by herself.

C: I can't believe she was pregnant. We're supposed to be best friends.

N: But who was the guy?

T: She wouldn't tell me....

N: None of this makes any sense you know?

C: But Ty you had an alibi so why'd they arrest you?

T: Because they found something near to where Lauren was killed that linked me to her murder.

T: My debit card.

T: It was in the park Camila. Not far from Lauren's body.

T: But I didn't have my debit card did I?

T: Dinah did....
