Fire & Grace (A Ruel fanfic)

I hop off the plane with Ruel and we walk on the tarmac. We enter the airport and I find my mum.
"Hey Mum, this is Ruel,"
"Hi Ruel, nice to meet you,"
"Nice to meet you too Mrs...,"
"Jessica is fine," my mum said with a smile.
"Okay," Ruel grinned
We strolled to the area where our bags are, we quickly grabbed our bags before everyone else was there.  I hugged goodbye Ruel and we left the airport. Mum and I found the car we are renting, and we drove off.

-At the motel-

We find a park at the hotel carpark and find the elevator. I sit on the couch while my mum checks us in. I open up my phone and I have so many messages already from my friends, and I also see I've gotten a message from Ruel.
It reads:
Hey, did you get to your motel safely?
I texted back:
Hey, yeah all good. Thanks for asking :)
I better go Ruel, talk to you later.
I got a reply back straight away.
That's good and ok, talk to you later.
I jump off the couch and walk up the stairs to our room.
We open the door and omg. This is the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed at. It's one massive room and a beautiful big window with one breathtaking view. I plonk down my bag and place my suitcase down near my bed. I think I might have a little nap because I'm really tired.

-2 hours later-

I wake up from my nap, I think my mum is in the shower because the water is running. I just remembered that I didn't reply to my friends messages. I quickly reply to them all after that I message my best friend Megan.
Hey babe, how are you
It's 10am in Australia now, knowing her she is probably still asleep. I change into some shorts and a T-shirt. My mum comes into the room and says
"Hi there sleepyhead, ready to explore and get some lunch,"
"I'm ready,"
My mum gets dressed and we walk down the stairs to the foyer of the motel. We go for a walk around and we finally found a place to eat. It's a Pilipino restaurant, it has their countries traditional cuisine. I order chicken adobo and so does my mum.

-One hour later-

We finish our meals and we pay at the counter.  I took a step outside of the restaurant and I bump into someone. I look up and see it is Ruel.
"Oh hey Tayla,"
"Oh hey Ruel,"
"Better watch where you going next time,"
"I could say the same thing Ruel,"
My mum walks out of the restaurant and says.
"Hi again Ruel,"
"Hi Jessica," while he puts his hand out for a handshake.
"Sorry Ruel but Tayla and I must get going,"
"No problem, I better go to,"he says with a grin.

My mum and I walk off, I turn around and  I wave goodbye to Ruel.
