Three years later
I sat in my room looking at my laptop. I was bored out of my mind. Later my dad and I were going to my mom and siblings graves to visit them. It's been a little while since we have been there. Axe was sitting in my window sill, looking out into my backyard. I knew he was sad. Over the years I've tried telling his family that Axe wants to send a message and each time they blow up. They send me off calling me a freak as well as that I was just some stalker who was out to hurt their family. I really wasn't though. I told Axe I couldn't do it anymore. And he actually agreed. He even has gone as far as telling me he is hurt and disappointed in his family.
Before all this I was that quiet girl that people noticed, smiled at and went on their way. No problems. Yeah, I talked to people at school but never really hung out after school because I wasn't up to it. Though now if I wanted to, people don't want to. Axes family has turned the town against me. My dad knows and defends me all the time. They've not turned against him but they do trash me to him. He tells them people are different. People happen to finish that line with calling me a devil worshipper, the devil mistress, even the devil's messenger. And no one cares how bad that hurts me. I've cried myself to sleep many, many times before.
Axe also told me about his family. They're werewolves. I couldn't believe it at all. But he was able to take my over to his families land and show me. I watched as they turned into wolves. I was shocked to say the least. After that I just kept to myself. Even though Axe said if I mention it, they'd believe since no humans in this knows, there is one reason I wanted go back. After the last time, when I got to school the next day, I was severely tormented. Called names, had things thrown at me, stuff written on my locker. But to top it off, I was jump by Zel and her friends. All egged on by Byron and his friends. That was the last time Axe asked me to do anything.
I was severely injured. My dad talked about pressing charges but I told him no. Since Byron's family has so much influence in this town I knew we'd loose. My dad's talked about moving. He's letting me think it over. That incident was seven months ago. I'm still debating. If I decide not to move, I'll homeschool. Which is fine by me. I hated this town and all it's inhabitants. Well besides Axe. Only reason I really don't want to leave is because my mom and siblings are buried here. I don't want to leave them behind. Also Axe can't leave far from his body without really dying. So I can't go.
"Caylynn are you ready sweetie?" my dad asked me as he stood in my doorway.
"Yeah, let's go," I told him with a smile. My dad is the greatest. He never took his grief and anger out on me. We were always there for each other. I grabbed my bag and headed out my door. Axe always came with us. He was always there by the time we got there. My dad knows about Axe and my gift. He told me mom was a medium and so we're members of her family.

It didn't take long before we pulled up to the cemetery. Dad parked along the curb that was thirty feet from the graves. Axe was there already sitting. But it wasn't by my families graves. It was by his own. The memorial headstone that indicated that he was "dead". He really wasn't. He told me everything that happened. I got out with my dad grabbing all the bundles of flowers. I got some for Axe too. I headed over to my families and places all the flowers by their headstones. My dad followed my que.
We sat in silence just thinking. My dad had silent tears flowing down his face. Seeing that broke my heart and I leaned in hugging him. We sat like that for twenty minutes. Holding each while we cried. After another ten minutes we said our goodbyes. My dad headed back to the car as I went over to Axes headstone. I placed the flowers.
