The adrenaline rushed so fast through my veins that I didn't even noticed I've driving for more than an hour now. I stopped the car against a sidewalk and started to catch my breathe feeling so happy after driving my favorite car. I checked the time and it was 10:35 so I once again roared the engine back to life and started driving towards my destination.
I got out of my car once I arrived and saw much more familiar surroundings. Everyone with either their cars or girls with them were happily smoking or drinking. I started to feel so many people's eye on me but I ignored them and looked at my watch and saw that it was already 11 pm. Someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around to see the smiling mac, excitedly looking at me.
"Hi, when's the race starting?" He asked as I told him to follow me as I led him trough a bunch of crowd. Then I walked towards the owner of the race whom I already knew because of my previous races. I walked towards him and held my hand out for a shake when he recognized me.
"Hey"
"Damn Cynthia, Long time, no see? Woah, you look like an adult now" He asked while shaking my hand and I chuckled a bit.
"Yeah, was busy these years" I told him as he nodded understandingly, he was the guy that helped me throughout my teenage years and so I owe him one for it.
"So, Who's getting his ass beaten today?" He asked and I smirked, he used to settle races between me and other players in the past but now I have my own opponent.
"You know me so well, I'll let you know when he arrives but just to let you know, only we will be racing, no other outsider" I told him changing my expression from a soft person to a cold-hearted one and he immediately nodded, knowing my anger.
"Someone's about to get butt hurt, huh?" He asked chuckling as I smirked, liking the way he knew about my savage side. I heard a roar of an engine and I turned around only to see Issac stepping out of the car and walking towards our direction. I knew he was coming to register so as soon as he stepped besides me, I spoke up.
"The race is going to be between the two of us, no one else, okay?" I asked my old friend, aka Andrew or more like commanded him. He nodded with a wink and from the corner of my eyes, I saw Issac glaring towards me so I turned towards him.
"Let's go?" I asked him smiling innocently, he turned around and stormed towards his car and I chuckled and also walked towards my car.
"Best of Luck, Cindy, I'm cheering for you" Mac said as I gave him a thumbs up and sat inside my car.
We both were on the start line now and waited for the countdown. I shared a small glance at Issac and saw him breathing in anger. I smiled and mentally praised myself because if a person is angry, they can't do things properly and that way, I have more chances of winning.
"Are you ready?" A girl came in front of us and shouted, pointing towards both of us and for the answer, we both started the engine.
"Get Set" I stepped on the accelerator in full speed while also pushing down the breaks as I waited for the cue.
"Go" As soon As she screamed, I pulled my feet from the breaks and my car went off in full speed and stood up from the front because of the speed.

As soon As my car landed back on road, I slowed the accelerator a bit and pushed it again while changing the gear. Issac was behind me as I expected and I saw a turn coming forward so I took over the proper lead and moved towards the left to take the small turn while he'll take the long one. As soon As the turn arrived, I slowed my accelerator a bit and moved the steering wheel to the left and in 0.1 second I pushed the accelerator again and my car went more forward again. I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw Issac speeding towards me and I immediately knew he was using NoS and I smirked knowing his mistake. As soon as he took the lead, I moved towards the right and pressed the button of my first NoS.
My car sped up and took the lead once again as I smirked when I saw the finished line from afar. I saw that idiot pulling his second NoS and that's when I smiled in victory because I knew this match is mine now. As soon as he took the lead, after 2 seconds, I pulled the second NoS and my car came just besides his and I was only 4 feet forward from him.
Author's P.O.V
As soon as Cynthia took the lead again, Issac got more angry, not knowing she had double NoS and tried to take the lead again by pushing the full accelerator. Just like that, the race ended when they crossed the finish line.

I got out of my car smiling like an idiot and rested myself on the car's front and smirked towards Issac who was boiling in anger now, frowning.
"So as we can see, the results were in front of ya'll" The MC said and I crossed my arms over my chest and smirked again and continued to listen to him.
