Rekindle

Things haven't been the same. Ever since that day we played truth or dare and I told melo I loved him, he's been very distant and it's not only affecting me but Meria as well. He's like her father figure since journey doesn't really come around after what happened. We'll FaceTime every now and then so he can see her but ever since he had a bitch kissing on my baby she's not allowed over there.

I sat with Meria in my arms rocking her back to sleep. She woke up crying once again because she's so used to laying between me and melo. Once I calmed her down she wasn't as fussy but she was still crying and wouldn't go to sleep and I didn't know what to do.

"B what the hell is going on." Brandon said coming in my room.

"For real this been happening for almost two weeks." Lucas said walking in behind Brandon.

"I know I'm sorry she just misses melo." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Looks like she's not the only one." Lucas said while sitting next to my and wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"I'm fine I'm worried about my baby right now." I said while taking a deep breath to keep from crying. (Y'all know that feeling when your trying not to cry and you take a deep breath to hold it back but that only makes it worse.)

"Here give me her" Lucas said.

I game him to her and he walked out. Brandon came and sat next to me.

"You need to talk to him" he said

"I know."

The next day

"Melo?" I said quietly while knocking on his door.

"Come in." He said.

"Hey babe." He said getting up to hug me.

"Where were you going." I said while examining his outfit. He had on black jeans with a red Gucci Belt and red shirt and black red bottoms with a chain and watch.

"I had to meet with Someone." He said while looking in the mirror. (He has his waves.)

"Oh, I was hoping we could talk for a Minute." I said while sitting on his bed.

"Sorry babe I really don't have time i gotta go before I'm late." He said while running out without a kiss.
I sighed and out my head in my hands.

"Wanna talk about it?" Someone said from the side of me. I looked up and seen gelo in the doorway.

"About what?" I said trying to play it off.

"You know what" he said while coming to sit next to me.

"I just wanna go home to my baby I'm not worried about it." I said with a sigh

"That's not what your tears are saying." He said while looking me in the eye.
I felt my face and sure enough it was wet with tears.
I looked him in his eyes and started crying and he pulled me into his chest and just held me.

I woke up and looked around to see that I was still in melo's room under the covers. I didn't remember how I got there but I remember crying. I got up and fixed his covers and put on my shoes to get ready to leave.

"Where are you going." Someone said behind me. I jumped not realizing that someone was in the room with me.
I turned around to see melo with a tear stained face.

"Home." I said as I grabbed my jacket and headed for the door.

"Wait" He said and I feel him grab my wrist.
