Blessing pov (6 months later)

I was sitting in my room getting NyMeria ready. She was supposed to be staying with journey for the weekend since i have her most of the week. Its not what you think though. Its not like we don't get along and we have to split days. Its just that she lives with me but whenever he wants to see her he comes over or I take her over there, and he's constantly buying her stuff.
Which i don't approve of because I don't want her growing up spoiled and throwing fits when she doesn't get what she wants. But shes a Daddy's girl so there's nothing i can do about it.

I only needed to get her dress because she already has everything she needs over there.

"You look so tute stinka. Yes you do." i cooed.

After a couple of minutes Meria started to get fussy so i put her down for a nap. I decided to take one as well untill journey got here.

When i woke up I checked the time and seen that it was an hour past 6 and journey was supposed to be here at 3. This is the third time he blew us off and i was tired of it.
I just decided to go over to the balls since we were already dressed and i didn't wanna waste a good outfit.

I went over to Meria's Crib and picked her up and she started fussing because she was still tired. I just rocked her until she calmed down then i grabbed her diaper bag and i went downstairs to eat something. I sat her in her high chair and gave her cut up fruit pieces, then i made me a sandwich with chips and a drink and sat down and started to eat while watching NyMeria to make sure she doesn't choke.

"Hi mermer" Brandon said walking in and kissing her cheek multiple times while she laughs.

"Wassup bless." he said while taking some of my chips.

"Nothing." i said while glaring at him.

"You bout to go meet journey? I thought he was supposed to be here earlier?" he questioned while feeding Meria.

"Yea he was but he stood us up once again. Probably for his new bitch." i said while rolling my eyes.

If you didn't know, me and journey broke up a few months ago because we just wasn't feeling each other. We thought it would be better for NyMeria for her parents to be together but that was a mistake. Now we just co parent. But we don't hate each other" if that's what you were thinking.

"So now we're just gonna go down to the balls for a little while and maybe I'll go shopping for her or something." i said while getting up to put my dishes in the sink.

I'll wash it later.

I wiped of Meria's face and picked her and her diaper bag and headed out the door.

"BYE" i yelled.

I walked sown the street to the ball house and just walked inside like i always do.

"Hello ball residence." i said walking into the back yard where everyone was at.

"Hey blessing."

"Hey."

"Hey MerMer." everyone said at the same time.

Gelo was the first to come over and Meria immediately started jumping in my arms and reaching for him. For some reason she loves him.

"How's every one doing today." i asked as i let gelo take Meria. 

I heard a bunch of "good"s.

"Better now that your here." i heard someone say from behind me. I just laughed and walked away already knowing it was melo.

Me and melo started speaking again a couple weeks after me and journey broke up.

I went to sit down and he followed.

"I thought you were take the baby to her dads?" melo question while sitting next to me.

"He got busy." i said while watching zo and Eli play ball with dmo as the ref.

"He's with his girl ain't he." he said while looking at me.
I just ignored him.

"I don't know why you keep playing like just fuck with the kid." melo said while staring at me.

"Wanna come to the mall with us? I have to go shopping for Meria." i asked

"Yea lets go." he said getting up and putting his hand out to help me up.

I went over to get Meria and said bye to everyone and we were off.

~30 minutes later~

We just got done shopping at journeys kids.

"Wanna go get some food?" melo asked as he held the bags he just bought.

"Lets go to Auntie Ann's." i said whole hoisting Meria up on my hip.
We walked there and i got cinnamon pretzels while melo got regular pretzels. Then we went to panda express and i got us all General Tso's with rice and some noodles for Meria. On the way to a table i told melo to get a high chair while i find a seat. Once i found one i set everything down and looked around to try and find melo. Instead of finding him, i found journey and some white girl. Hugged up. Once melo came over i told him i would be back and i went over there.

"So this is why you blew off your daughter?" i asked with a attitude.
They both turned their heads looking shocked.

"I uh i forgot." i he stuttered.

"So you can remember to hang out with your bitch but you can't remember to get your kid? Are you serious?" i said while laughing.

"I'll get her tomorrow. I promise " he said while taking his hands from her.

"Why can't you get her now?" i asked while titling my head.

"Because i had plans wi-"

"Wow so that's more important then your daughter?" i asked.

"I never saud tha-"

"Goodbye Journey." i said. Not even acknowledging The white girl.

I walked back to melo and i must of looked upset because he asked what was wrong.

"Nothing lets just go we can eat at home." i said while collecting our bags.
