Kalith opened his eyes to an annoying tapping on the top of his cage. He growls and looks up and sees Ozenbi sitting on top of his cage. "Ah, finally! I thought you would never wake up." "Ozenbi?" Realization suddenly comes crashing down on him. "So it was you behind the blizzard." "Oh? You figured it out so quickly? I'm impressed. Although, I would expect no less from the great Kalith Stormson."
"Why did you betray us?" "Betray? No. I would never betray a cause." "Then why..." "Oh poor naive Stormson, I was never on your side in the first place. Didn't you think it was suspiciously convenient that I suddenly showed up with inside information about Egnever's plans?" "Well...Yes, but why are you on their side? Egnever has a deep hatred of all non humans." "All non human sentients except me."
"Good, now that we have that little misunderstanding cleared up, it's time to do what i was sent here to do. Tell you Engever's plans for Aryia! Isn't this exciting?" Ozenbi says with way too much enthusiasm. "Engever plans to use the time machine to bring forward your hatchlings and then kill them again in front of her. He plans to do it multiple times, each time going backwards an additional hour until there are no more dragonets to kill. Afterwards, he will chop the wings off of your mindbroken mate and use her as his slave for the rest of her life."
Kalith then roars in rage and thrusts three claws through the cage toward his neck. "That's not going to happen. I will save her, no matter what I have to do. After that, I will kill your king. Tell this to him, I'm coming for him, he better watch out." Kalith then releases Ozenbi and he laughs. "I don't think my king has anything to worry about, seeing as you are in a cage. Nevertheless, I will humour you. Goodbye, may your dreams be filled with pain, sorrow, and hopelessness." He laughs and leaves.
