He reached the door of the car and pulled it open.

The driver came outside.

"Don't tell anyone that I asked for this car in such emergency, my sister took mine so I had to" he didn't want his parents to interfere.

Probably he didn't want anybody to do so.

He remembered the phone call that he had attended a few seconds ago.

It was from Hafsa. She was his childhood friend who had gotten into stuff with him, like helping him out in selling. His parents also had started shipping him with her but he never appreciated the thought of having a girl permanently in his life so he had never shown it and thus she has gotten married.

She had called to tell Rehaab that her husband Rayyan knew about him also that she always had feelings for Rehaab, so he wanted to take revenge upon him.

The thoughts made Rehaab flinch. He regretted his quick decision of letting her in the hands of him.

He pressed the break button and car gave a big jerk.

He stopped his heartbeat was wild. Why was he rushing?

If she was with him than why was it a problem for him?

Before answering himself. He again pushed the accelerator and car again started running on the roads.

He was on the super highway. He knew even though it'd been a few hours since he left him with her. He knew Rayyan's mobile phone was off and something was wrong for sure.

He checked his pockets he had forgotten his gun, when he had gone to the washroom he had put it on the side table.

He struck his fist to the handle. As he raced again.

The road ended the briers started and through them he pulled and then the farm house was visible.

He halted the car. And flung outward. He reached for the door it was opened.

He barged in.

"Zoha! Zoha!" he was looking for her everywhere. In a continuous motion. But she was nowhere.

He kicked the door as he came out again.

He thought that maybe Rayyan had killed her for a revenge or because of jealousy. Or maybe worst he'd have taken her with him.

He went towards the car started it up.and went to the front side.

He was driving slowly with the railway track.

His eyes were darting everywhere.

But there was no one around.

He drove and drove.

He knew after a few miles was the small dhaba/canteen. If he had taken her there then there was no chance as the buses come there.

He was driving when suddenly his eyes hit a place. His feet pushed the break forcefully.

He was jolted up.

He saw her lying against the tree. He immediately got off the car and reached her.

"Zoha? Zoha?" he tried to wake her up. But she was numb. He checked her nerves they were light but she was alive. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath.

He tried again and then he immediately held her up and came back to his car. He laid her on the backseat as he started driving again.

Seeing her alive and okay as if put a new life in him.

He sighed as he shook his head to shrug off the thoughts he was having now.

He was remembering how his heart was almost in his mouth and how her face was coming in front of his eyes everytime he was away from her.

It was just a matter of a few hours but it seemed like ages to him... He was peeping from the back view mirror.

He couldn't believe his fate could do this miracle and that for the first time it didn't happen like he was imagining it to be.

He never ever believed in his fate and his disbelief let him to believe this time..

She opened her eyes and the only thing that she didn't want to see was Rehaab.

He was sitting across her on a couch and immersed in his phone.

He was dressed up in black tea shirt that was clung to his torso making it visible.

His sleeves were rolled up till elbows.

He looked up and she closed her eyes. Hoping he hadn't seen her but he had already.

She squinted with her little open eyes. There was a drip clung to her upper palm.

She was in her same dress but the room was different.

"You're awake madam?" a woman asked and she opened her eyes wide to find that the woman was the same nurse who had always been so rude to her.

She didn't reply her.

Rehaab made an expression and she left the room.

It wasn't a hospital room she knew.

"How are...." before he'd complete the door was knocked by someone.

Rehaab clenched his eyes as he spoke holding all the displeasure in his voice.

"Yes?"

"Boss we got him and beat him up" the voice came in.

"Come in" he ordered.

A man holding Rayyan with both his hands on Rayyan's collar and Rayyan's nose was bleeding as well.

Rehaab stood up and reached him.

"I told you I shall not spare you!" Rehaab smirked as he clutched his collar again and he gave him a punch.

"Stop it!" Zoha shouted. Rehaab slightly turned his head backward and then he ordered again.

"Tell Hafsa, I'm sparing him only because of her. As she had been a very good friend" he smiled and winked at Rayyan.

The other man gripped onto him again and left the room.

She was still staring at his blooded wrist as he twisted it in the air.

She had fear in her eyes for him. And she didn't want him to see that. She shut her eyes and then opened them wide.

"Zoha, how are you now?" she found a strange change in his voice. The gruff was gone so was the violence he was showing a minute ago.

But she wanted to ask him. She had so many questions...
