Settling in

  As we're driving to Peg's, Edward points at people and is just fascinated by everything. It's kinda cute. I also notice everyone we drive past is trying to see who Edward is. Nosey whores. Housewives are so bored with their lives that whatever new comes into town, they eat it up as if they were being starved. Especially my Aunt Joyce. She's the queen of them all.
  We pull up to the house and we lead him inside. As Peg is trying to show him around, he turns to the bookshelf with the family pictures. "Oh you wanna see the pictures? Alright," Peg says. She explained who everyone was. I notice he especially has his eye on Kim. I sadden at this because what if he likes her?  Not that he's mine or anything, but he's just so innocent. She would ruin him. We lead him down the hallway and Peg grabs some of Bill's old clothes. She tells him to get dressed in Kims room. Then the phone rings. "Oh I'll get it. (Y/n) could you help him?" Before I could answer, she leaves to get the phone. I slightly blush at the thought of helping get dressed. He enters Kim's room and I follow. He puts the clothes on the vanity and he stares at his reflection. He pokes at it and then accidentally cuts his face. He hisses and steps back. I grab a tissue, "It's just a cut," I say as I wipe his cut. He smiles a small smile at me. I step back after taking care of his cut. "I'll be in the hallway if you need me," I say. He nods.

  After about 5 minutes I hear a voice. "(Y/n)," Edward says in his small voice. I come in the room and he's all tangled up in the shirt. I giggle and ask, "would you like me to help?" He nods and I help him. I button him up and show himself in the mirror. He smiles and Peg walks in. "Oh he looks fine! Just fine!" We all go to the kitchen and start working on dinner.
