I looked at Blake with confusion plastered across my face. Does he think he's about to drink my blood? Not a chance in hell!
Blake let out a deep chuckle. "I guess I should have fed before we left."
A nervous laugh passed my lips. "Well do you wanna go? It's probably not so good for you to be around a bunch of people."
"I'm thirsty, but I'm not thirsty thirsty. I can wait. I don't want to ruin our date."
Our....................Date?
Blake's eyes widened after realizing what he said. "Our day. I meant to say 'our day', darling."
"Okay, Blake" I replied, looking away from him. My stomach began to growl as I thought about all the food I was getting ready to eat.
"Your food is ready" the concession stand woman said as she carried a full tray to the counter.
"Thank you" Blake said before taking the tray from the woman's hands.
He began to walk away, I followed close behind. We walked down to the last door in the building.
"Here we are" Blake said, pushing the door open with his shoulder.
I widened my eyes in an attempt to see in the dark.
"That doesn't work" Blake chuckled, looking at me. "Let's find some seats."
Blake chose seats that weren't too close to anyone else. The cold air in the room caused me to shiver for a moment.
"Are you cold?" Blake asked.
"A little but I'll be fine, sir" I answered.
"I'd warm you up if I could" Blake whispered to me.
I mentally rolled my eyes. I wouldn't want you to, if you could. I looked up to the large screen, annoyed by the trailers. "So when is it supposed to start?" I asked trying to hide my excitement.
"I take it you like zombies" Blake asked, making it sound more like a statement.
"Yeah, I used to be obsessed with zombies when I was a kid. I love them because even though they are dead and completely stupid, they still fuck shit up" I said as if I were talking to a friend. "But now that I'm older, the whole living dead thing is kinda dumb. No offense."
"What do you mean 'no offense'?" Blake asked, cocking his head to the side.
"Well, I mean... you're dead" I whispered, straining my eyes to see Blake. "Right?"
"Far from it, darling. I'm a pureblood. I was born a vampire. We stop ageing around twenty-one" Blake whispered back to me. "But if I were to turn someone, they'd die first."
"Oh" I replied, not knowing what to say. "Well that's cool I gue..." I said before Blake place his index finger across my lips.
"Hush now. It's starting" he said, looking at the large screen.

Once the movie ended, Blake and I left the theater. Blake dumped the trash from the tray into a trash can and placed the tray on the counter. He turned around and bumped into me, nearly knocking me down.
"You don't have to be so close, Robyn. Just stay within arm's reach and you'll be fine" Blake stated.
"Yes, master" I said inching back a little.
"Call me Blake, darling. We are in public after all.
"I forgot. Sorry" I said looking around.
As we continued walking, I noticed all the people having enjoying their free lives. A look of slight sadness covered my face as I realized that I would never have what they have ever again. Freedom.
Blake noticed my mood shift and looked down at me with concern in his eyes. "How did you enjoy the movie?"
"It was good. It's sad that the main character died though" I answered.
"I guess" Blake said, nodding his head slowly. "I thought it was cute how you covered your eyes during the sex scene" he said with a chuckle. "You virgins are always funny like that."
I stopped walking and turned around to face Blake. "I'm not a virgin" I said, furrowing my brows. "They literally said that when you bought me" I said with an annoyed expression.
"Guess I wasn't paying attention" Blake said as he grabbed my arm and led me out of the door. "So why'd you cover your eyes as if you were innocent?"
"Just because I had sex doesn't mean I wanna see it" I replied wrinkling my nose.
Blake laughed and walked up to his car. He led me around to the passenger side and opened the door. I sat down and buckled my seatbelt as he closed the door. We jogged around to the other side, being very careful to move at a human speed. He got into the car and closed the door.
"I want to take you to meet someone" he said as he stared the car.
"Who?" I asked.
"An old friend" Blake answered quickly. He began to drive down the road.
I stared out the window and watched as everything rushed by. I wonder who we're going to see.
This one is kinda short. I haven't written anything in a while, so I figured I should get something out. More to come!
