Plan A- A Failure, A Loss, and A New Hope

Tears were falling from Axel's eyes as he drove the van to Outer Heaven.

"WHY DID THEY HAVE TO KILL HIM??? WHYYYY???"

"Calm down Axel, Nova's sacrifice won't be in vain if we make it to Outer Heaven." professor Montonio replied with sorrow.

"There it is, Outer Heaven."

"Okay okay okay, I know this sounds stupid, but why is it even called Outer Heaven?"

"It's supposed to be the fortress that will protect our mother base, the Hive."

"Well then what happened? I never got any news about the Hive."

"That's because of politics."

"Politics? How did politics get in the picture?"

"Well you see at first NASA was funding on research stuff, while the military was funding for defense. At that moment, NASA was so overpriced that they had to cut their budget to 25%. Politicians debated for this, because NASA's budget didn't only include themselves, but also the production of the technology needed in the Hive."

"So you're telling me that the time that NASA cut their budget, they stopped the building of the Hive? They sugar coated it? Did the civillians know anything about this?"

"You see, that's exactly the problem, Friday, if the government would talk about NASA's budget and the Hive in public, there would be an outrage. You see, back then before you guys were ever 'born', the government is really screwed, something over priced, something low quality, all of those were hidden from the civillians. If it wasn't, then the civillians might think that the government, it's politicians and it's workers are just savoring their filthy rich lifestyle. Now that would make a public outrage."

"Hey professor, how do we open this large gate exactly?"

"Let me do it." professor Montonio replied.

"There are more incoming sir, about 50-150 more heat sources are being tracked, and they're---INCREASING?"

"Well this place used to house thousands of brilliant scientists." professor Montonio replied to Axel.

"That's it! I'm removing my seal!" Friday shouted.

More shots are fired as they get deeper in the base.

"Wow, first time I've seen that Friday isn't on a safe spot."

"I CAN HEAR YOU MONDAY! AND WE ALL KNOW THAT I CAN SHOOT YOU THERE!"

"Okay okay okay easy pal easy. Just think of it as a compliment."

"THE MAIN OFFICE IS RIGHT THERE! HURRY PROFESSOR, THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!"

"Alright now, hey mate! Time to show off your skills in this machinery stuff."

"Alright sir. Hey professor, might want to help me out in here."

"I already am helping."

"What are you doing there, professor?"

"I'm just giving Angel commands. I'm setting up defenses for us."

"That's pretty cool for an old base, right mate?"

"Yeah, I can say that too."

"Now, all we need to do is to get the Queen Bee up and running."

"Wait, what in the world is Queen Bee exactly?"

"It's a ship, a large ship, it can hold millions of people, to make it the best ship of all, it has weaponry that can damage Penumbra's sky fortress."

"So you're telling us that we're going to raid Penumbra's sky fortress? Now how the heck would we do that?"

"Well, you see, this base has a little secret of it's own. This base was made to house thousands of Lights, which never even got to 8. We have a lab downstairs that can enhance your nanotechnology system. It can make you stronger, or even give you new Persona weapons."

"Wow, now THAT's amazing."

"Problem is, we need to get the generator up and running. And it's also downstairs, in the room adjacent to the lab. It's being hoarded by infected people if you look at the cameras."

"Alright, then we just have to go down and knock politely, right Friday?"

"Hospitality at it's finest mate."

"Woah woah woah hold on a second, you're bringing Friday with you? How about me?"

"We all know that your stronger than Friday, Monday."

"Is that supposed to be an insult or a compliment, huh mate?"

"A bit of both actually, now let's go, we don't have much time till the sun goes down."

With that, Thursday and Friday set off without even knowing what lies beneath the belly of the beast.
