"What should we do first?" Mikey asks me as we're both walking around the county fair. "How about the Ferris Wheel or some carnival games?"

"Carnival games." I repl, rubbing my arms.

"Are you cold?" Michael asks, sounding actually worried for me. "Here's my jacket."

"Michael-"

"Nope, if I let you get sick, Calum would kill me. He's already wary of me since we're living together." Michael bubbles, and I give him a with look, but I shake my head.

As Michael and I are reaching the very top of the Ferris wheel, it suddenly comes to a halt.

"The Ferris wheel has broken down, we'll be here for a couple hours!" Somebody yells from below us, and I hang my head.

"Why? Why me?" I groan, closing my eyes.

"You okay?" Mikey asks, putting a hand on my shoulder. I shake my head, and start to whimper. "Talk to me, what's wrong?"

"I have a deathly fear of heights, I've had since I was a young kid. The same thing happened, and I was stuck on top of the Ferris wheel for twelve hours." I explain, lifting my head.

"Come here." Mikey says, and I carefully scoot over to his side of the car. Mikey wraps his arms around me, rubbing my arm with his thumb. "You're gonna be okay, I promise."

"I really like you." I mumble under my breath, barely above a whisper.

"Well that works out because I happen to like you too." Mikey says, kissing the top of my head.
