Ayodhya Maharaj Dasharath's Ashwamedha yagya's last ceremony was approaching. Maharaj invited all the great kings and holy men of Bharathvarsha for this auspicious ceremony. Only 2 days were remaining for the grand ceremony to be held. Many kings with their families started coming to the the city of Ayodhya. The palace was filled with intellectual talks, spiritual proceedings and laughter of young prince and princess's. It was obvious that many kings wanted to have a marriage alliance with Ayodhya. So there were many princesss who wanted to be close to the Ayodhyan princes. Especially Ram because of his valour and handsomeness. But Ram was never interested in these things. He kept himself busy in preparation of the ceremony.

But then Maharaj Dasharath once called Ram and said. Dasharat : Ram, putra aj Sandhya kal, tum mere sath mukya dwar par upasthit hona. Mere ek param Mitra Unke parivar ke sath aj peheli bar Ayodhya padhar rahe hein. Unke swagath hethu hum sabhi ko jana hoga. Ram: avashya pitaji jaisi apki agya, Kinthu kya mein jan saktha hun, Yah apke param Mitra he kon, jinke parivar ke swagath ke liye ap swayam jana chahthe he? Dasharat : Yah ek aise vyakthi he Ram jinka jivan anukaraniya he, ek Raja hokar bhi ve rishitulya jivan jithe hein. Unka rajya gyan or shanti ka pratheek kehelatha he, ve or koi nahi Mithila Naresh Rajrishi Janak he.
