You were playing around with your 4 year old son, Liam, he giggled away when you made silly face and when you started to tickle him, "look who's in a giddy little mood" said the man who you loved. It was Jack and soon as your son saw his dad he ran over to him, "daddy!" Liam squealed in excitement, "theres my little solider" Jack smiled at his son. You giggled at your sons attempt of a salute , you saw Liam yawn. Your mother instincts kicked in and you said "at ease solider , I think its time for someone to go to bed", Jack also noticed Liam slowly starting to fall asleep in his fathers arms, which made you smile. "I'll put him to bed, you go and rest for a bit" Jack said whilst giving you a gently kiss. You nodded and kissed Liam on his forehead before leaving the room. You made your way to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee, the sweet but bitter smell of the coffee made a nice warm feeling run through your body , you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist, "you are amazing" Jack quietly said, whilst kissing your neck gently. "did the mission go well?" you asked him. He paused for a minute before answering, "n-no....we failed" he said, you turned around and faced your husband , his whole mood changed to a sad and darkened atmosphere . You put your hand and on his cheek as tears slowly came down, "Jack its okay babe" you said trying to comfort him, "no-one blames you" you said, "mistakes happen, sometimes they're for the good or sometimes they're for the bad, but i know you will improve from this, because you're strong" you told him with a gentle smile. "Reaper...he talked shit about you and Liam. Saying you will soon leave me for dead and calling your career as a tank a disgrace " he told you, you brought him into a hug. "Firstly he knows that my career as tank is better than his life , Secondly I will never fucking leave you, no matter what happens Morrison". A gentle smile came upon his face , "this is why your my wife" he said kissing you passionately. 

But the kiss didn't last long.

"MUMMY! DADDY! " Liam screamed as if he was crying. Both of you rushed into the room to see your son under the grasp of Reaper! "so weak like his father, Looks like its time to teach him some  tips and tricks" He chuckled evilly, "LEAVE OUR SON ALONE!" You shouted, "I'm afraid, I cannot do that, hes gonna realize who's the better side in this war!" Reaper argued back, "GABRIEL THIS WAR DOES NOT INCLUDE MY SON, SO KEEP HIM OUT OF THIS" Jack Shouted with fury in his tone. You grasped a pistol be hind your back before shooting Reapers left shoulder causing to lose grip of Liam. "Liam get be hind us" You told him, he shakily nodded and ran behind you and Jack, "heheheh you little bitch, you didn't think i'd come in on a mission with out a back up plan" he laughed evilly. You looked out side seeing 5 men on a building all holding guns, "Jack cover Liam!" you commanded. You quickly grabbed your shield and put it in front of Jack and Liam, millions of bullets were shot towards you, but you kept strong, you saw the shield start to break, "Jack get him behind cover! My shield wont last any lon-" you were cut off by a single bullet entering your chest. Reaper laughed evilly as he saw Jack rush to you. "stop firing, mission complete" Reaper laughed before leaving you house via window. "Stay with me y/n!, Liam be a brave boy and go and get the phone of the coffee table" Jack calm fully told Liam, he did as he was asked and gave his father the phone. Jack quickly rang Angelia, "Angelia its an emergency, we've been ambushed and y/n is hurt bad, bring Ana so then she can help me calm Liam down", "Will do Jack, Ill be there in a minute" she said. "is mummy gonna be okay" Liam sobbed, "of course she will, your mothers strong" Jack re assured him, but truth was he didn't know , on the inside he was begging and praying you would make it. He heard knocking at the door, "Doors open!" he shouted whilst trying to stop the blood. Angelia rushed in followed by Ana and Pharah. "Liam go and play with Aunty Phara and Ana whilst Angelia helps mummy" Jack told him. Liam rushed over to Ana and Pharah giving them a big hug. Jack closed the door and started to help Angelia. He stayed by your side holding your hand, "good news the bullet never reached her heart , bad news is that shes lost a lot of blood a good 2 pints at least. " Jack sighed at the kind of good new whilst Angelia wrapped a bandage around your chest. "Jack can you carry her to the med bay, so then i can do more checks ups there" she asked, "yea of course" he agreed. He picked you bridal style and carried you to the med bay, he put her down gently on the bed , constantly holding her hand. "come on baby, you can push through this" he mumbled lowering his head. You woke up from being unconscious and softly rubbed his hand with your thumb. He shot up to look at you and smiled when he saw you smiling.

-TIME SKIP 3 HOURS LATER-

"your currently making a really good recovery y/n, best I've ever seen. I would however recommend you staying here for a few days before returning back home" Angelia told you. "Okay I'm fine with that, its just whos gonna look after Liam. Jack's-", "don't worry y/n I look after Liam whilst you rest, its time for me to return the favor" Jack said cutting you off. Suddenly everyone heard Jacks ringtone go off , 'AMERICA FUCK YEA COMING AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHER FUKING DAY YEA'  you turned towards Jack , "so that's why Liam has been saying to you play the american song" you said , Jack answered the phone:

Jack: Hello?

Ana: Liams getting abit upset because he wants to see his parents, is okay he comes over.

Jack asked Angelia and she simply nodded,

Jack: Yea Angelia says he can.

Liam in the background: YAY!

-Hangs up-

"hes on his way" chuckled Jack and sooner or later he gently knocked on the door. Angelia opened the door and a bright smile lit up on his face when he saw his parents, he ran towards Angelia giving her a big hug "thank chu for fixing my mummy" he smiled, "your very welcome, but its you daddy who you should be thanking, he called me just in time" she giggled. Liam ran over to Jack and gave him a big hug, "thank you daddy for saving mummy" he said , "You're very welcome solider" Jack chuckled, "so is mummy all better?" Liam asked, "nearly , she just needs to sleep and the best of care. which me and you can do together" Jack grinned at you , you rolled you eyes and giggled. "good luck" chuckled Angelia. Liam then went over to you and gave you a hug, "yay mummys ne-nearly better" Liam said. You smiled as Jack kissed your head, "ewww" Liam giggled, and everyone else joined in laughing.
