Into the afternoon, majority of the overwatch team were helping create a suprise birthday part for (y/n), he his birthday was to day and he was (insert age XD). He was a loyal and kind friend to all especial to McCree, they've known each other way back to when they were both in the deadlock gang, and yea things didnt go to plan back then. But everythings work out, Ashe still pissed off with them betraying the clan. However the duo has gotten close, both have a strong conmection, maybe a connection which is more than friends, thats what you hoped he thought..... Anyways back on track, everyone had worked together to create a suprise party for (y/n), they knew he would like it, its just a matter of time before it starts.

-5:17pm-

You were sat on your bed watching game of throne, an old tv show from 2010. You were in a trance of the tv until a piece of paper slid under your door.

You walked over and picked it up, reading the note line by line.

To (y/n),
I wanna show ya something in the cafeteria, its a sercret so dont bring anyone with ya. I would recommend coming down to the cafeteria in casual wear since its nothin formal.

'A note from Jesse, hmm somethings up' you thought. You quickly got changed into blue jeans, a red sweater and you wore you black converse sneakers (#notsponsored XD). You quickly put your (h/l) (h/c) in a man bun, just because it made you look relaxed. Once you had finished you made your to the cafeteria, you looked into see a dark space which looked pitch black. "yo Jesse I got ya note" you shouted, no response. "Jesse fucking McCree I swear to God, if you scare me again" you said.

Suddenly all lights came on and everyone popped up from behind a big table cheering " Happy Birthday". You stood there stunned thinking every had forgot your birthday. McCree walked over to you laughing at your reaction "speakless darlin?" he laughed, you punched him on the arm "hey!" he chuckled, "thats for never fuking answering me" you smirked.
However in a flash you were stood infront of a pile of boxes. "Open them, open them, open them!" Lena begged, "jesus calm down, i will" you chuckled at her excitement.
The first box you grabbed was Lucios gift, it was quite tall and heavy to lift. He knew you had a passion for music, especially rock and roll. You opened it to see a Navy blue and green electric guitar. "lucio man, this is amazing" you thanked him, next was Mercy, you opened a small box which inside was a watch, "so then you can keep time of your day" she smiled, again you thanked her. Jack was next, you never thought that Jack would get you anything but who cares, you opened the blue box which contained a (f/c) leather jacket, with your name on the back. "thanks Jack" gou said showing a smile, he just nodded in approval. One by one you opened everyones present untill it came to Jesse's. It was a large orange box, which had a tag saying "use it well", in side was mask? You put the mask on to see everything in nightvison. Jesse knowing so well knew that you liked using a sniper at night, since its harder to see you. "Jesse this is amazing man" you stated, "theres a button at the side press it and see what happens" he guided you. You did what he said and in a matter of second the maskes turned into a ear piece, "you guys trying to make me peter quil from that old film guardians of the galaxy" you chuckled, "heh maybe" replied Jesse.

Music out of no-where blasted out of a pair of speakers, "you guys were taking your time so heres some music" lucio announced and he totally lit up the room.

-8:17pm-

You and Jesse were sat at a table talking to each other, when a sudden idea popped into your head. "Jesse, you claim to be the king of beer pong" you smirked, "darling i know im the king of beer pong" he said, "well i issuse a challange, to determine the king of beer pong, loser has to drink a shot of wasabi." you challange him, "deal darling, HEY LENA SET UP A GAME OF BEER PONG WILL YA" he shouted, "sure thing mccree." she said. By the time we know it beer pong was set up. You stood at one end of the table, Jesse stood at the other. Everyone gathered around to watch. "ladies first" he chuckled, "well then your surve" you smirked. He chuckled and threw a ping pong ball, which missed.

-TIME SKIP DUE TO TIRED AUTHOR XD-

"this cowboy needs to be put in jail" you said whilst throwing the ping pong ball, which landed in his last cup, "because cause the sherif just won" you laughed, everyone cheered and Jesse shook your hand whilst drinking that shot of wasabi.
You laughed when you saw his face go bright red. "Fucking hell this is strong" he yelled, "D. Va did you give him wasabi?" you asked her, "yep, payback for eating my doritos", you laughed at her response, "WHY ARE MY EARS STINGING" Jesse shouted from the kitchen. You couldnt stop laughing.

You sat out side whilst looking at the sea of bright stars which lit up the sky.

You sighed in relaxation as the peacefulness made you calm. You saw a bright shooting star fly past the midnight sky and you made a wish. 'i wish i had the guts to confess my feelings towards Jesse' you thought keeping that wish secret. "thought id find you here darling" Jesse quietly chuckled, "heh you know me, i need to relax once in a while" you chuckled, he laid beside you looking up at the sky and seeing the beauty of the night. "i love the night sky, so stunning and beautiful" you state, you heard him mumble something, "did you say something Jesse?" you asked, "n-nothing" he said whilst rubbing the back of his neck, "Jesse come on i know when youre lying" you told him, "i said nothing, im behonest" he said. You looked at him and gave him a 'oh really' face. He stayed silent, you sigh and lay back trying to stop thinking to yourself. But you could help it, you had mad feelings for the man, but you were doubting him have feelings for you. This tore you up inside, making you upset and an- "hey (y/n) you okay? Youre starting to tear up" McCree said obviously consurned, "y-yea just lost in my thoughts i guess" you said trying to make it seem like it was nothing, "look.. I erm... I wanna tell you something" McCree told ya, "fire ahead buddy" you replied, "well umm before... What i said was - cough- - cough-" you saw his face turn bright red, "come on man" you chuckled at his attempt to change subject, "fine ill tell ya what i said.... I said not as beautiful as you, okay happy, god i bet i look like a fuking creep." he said putting his head into his hands. You were stunned and blushing bright red, "you mean t-that?" you asked rubbing the back of your neck. "w-well y-yeah" he said. "I've like ya for a while, and i understand if you dont accept my feelings, then i will accept your choice, hopeful-" you put a hands on his cheek, "your not drunk are you?" you chuckled, "nope even though ive had 10 cups of cheap ass beer and a shot of hot sauce.... with abit of whiskey" he chuckled. "good" you smirked as leaned in and kissed him, a hell load of fireworks sparked in your stomach, finally you had both confessed your feelings and you both accepted them. You pulled away blushing, "ugh i can taste that wasabi" you laughed whilst standing up. "heh good, that shit fuking sucked" he said, "welp darling, its good to know i csn express my feelings more. See ya later slick" he said gently slapping you butt. "HEY!" You shouted and he just chuckled and waved leaving you blushing mad.
