The Fastrack 38014PP01 black digital watch, placed on the front rack of a glass shelf automatically started glowing. The blue LED was glowing brighter.

Avinash had got promoted to Production Manager of the Fastrack Unit in Hosur. He was enjoying the time. Avinash and his long time partner Naina was returning from a small get together at his friend's place.

It was around 11:30 PM. His car screeched to a halt for his sudden application on the brake. They both looked tensed and stared at each other with shock. Avinash was hesitating to come out of the car. Naina placed her hand on his arm. He gained some confidence with that and stepped out of the car.

A few steps later, a body was visible lying on the middle of the road. But no blood or sign of accident could be determined. He paused and was about to turn back, when he felt the touch of a sharp tool on his back and a hand grabbed his neck from the back. The body lying on the road suddenly started moving and was on his feet within a second. It was advancing towards him. The person grabbing him from the back shouted, "Ranga! What about the girl?" The dead body in disguise gave a stern reply, "We are thieves, not rapist." Ranga came into visibility. He was a middle aged man with rough face and light beard to hide the scars.

A third voice was heard from the back. Avinash could not move. "The girl is not moving Ranga." Avinash froze. Hitting the man holding him, with the elbow, he turned back and rushed towards the car. The man standing beside the car tried to grab him but failed. Naina's head was lying on the window pane. Blood was streaming down from her head and the window pane was becoming red. He went for the wrist of Naina and checked the pulse. A silence was prevailing at that moment. With pain and anger, Avinash pounced on the man standing near the car. He started hitting the man aggressively. He felt a strong blow at the back of his head and fell on the ground. He could hear their voices shouting at him to give everything they had. He murmured, "You have already taken." Avinash gained some strength and tried to stand up. Another blow came on his back of head. He fell on the ground numbly. All of the three robbers became stunned and did not know what to react to the situation. They saw the watch in Avinash's hand started glowing. The time is showing 12 AM and the date was 31st October. They started robbing all the valuable belongings. Ranga forcibly took out the watch from Avinash's wrist. It was glowing brighter. The watch was a symbol of luck for Avinash. It was a gift from Naina on their 4 years of relationship two days ago. After getting the watch, he got the promotion. He used to wear the watch almost every time of the day.

Present Day
31st October

The watch got the attention of Rafique, the man who was holding Avinash from the back on the same day 2 years ago. It was glowing brighter and brighter. Rafique became eager and tried to verify the reason behind this glow. He took out the watch from the self and started examining.

On the same day

Blood was trickling down from the partially bald head of Rafique. The ceiling fan was lying beside his head. His eyes were half open and frozen. But he was still holding the glowing watch.
