The survivors were screaming at one another, obviously arguing about something.

"BE QUIET!" yelled Emily, slamming her hands on the table. Some of the plates shook at her sudden slam. Everyone went quiet, their eyes widen. Emily was like a mother to them all, but seeing her full of anger was always frightening. As soon as everyone had quieted down, she could finally sigh out in relief.

"The host has informed me that there will be coming a new survivor to the manor, " Emily, the doctor, stated. Her hands placed on her hips as she dragged her eyes around the room.

"A WHAT NOW?!" screamed Naib and Vera in unison. The others were also surprised, but did not have a reaction so extreme as theirs. Whispers started to emerge around the table. The most asked questions were what kind of abilities they were going to have, which gender, and so on.

Emily was patiently waiting for the chatter to die down, looking over at the clock on the wall. It was about time for them to come and meet the others. "Ahem. The new survivor joining us today is an embalmer. His name is Aesop Carl, and all I ask of you all is to treat him with respect and make him feel at home. " it was almost as if she was pleading for them to listen to what was said. She did not want to get them or herself in trouble, after all.

"We will, Emily. You can count on us. " said Martha with her proudest of tone. Fiona, who was sitting beside her, slowly nodded her head at her words.

Suddenly, a knock was heard. It came from the door that God knows what's in it. The last person that dared go in, was killed or something of that sort. It was horrible. "uh- hello?' a stranger's voice was heard from the outside of the door. Everyone knew who it was I an instant. It was the new survivor. Every new survivor always came through that door, yet no one remembered what was in it.

Since Tracy was the closest to the door, she rose up from her chair. "I'll opennn~" she sang, turning around. The mechanic took a few steps closer to the door, swinging the door open. It seemed to startle the male, as he had jumped back.

"oh my god! You are sooo cute!" Said Tracy as she squealed. She clasped her hands together, giving the embalmer a warm smile. "uh- thanks?" he replied, scratching the back of his neck in an awkward manner.

A few silent moments went by, no one knowing what to say until Demi spoke up. "does the hunters know about this? It would be strange if they did not. If that is the case, we should keep this a secret until the next match which is in-" the bartender looked at the clock on the wall. "an hour. " everyone seemed to agree with this. Some nodding, some giving thumps up.

"Great! Let's -" another knock was heard. This time, it was from the door that led to the Hunters' side of the manor. Everyone seemed to not want to open the door, so Vera decided to do it. "fine, I will open it. " she said, nearing the door.

Aesop was probably the most confused survivor out of them all. Not only did he not know anything about this place, but he did not know what was going on, either. Everyone was making a fuss about something that he did not entirely understand. Were the hunters that bad even out of the game?

The embalmer slowly snaked his way past Tracy, who was looking at the door, her eyes showing slight fright. The door was opened by Vera.

As an attempt of seeing who it was, Aesop tried to look past Tracy. However, she had other plans. "stay hidden, please ~" she whispered to the male, keeping him behind her back. After hearing that, he decided to stay quiet.

"what is all this fuss about, eh? We are trying to have a nice meal here!" hissed an angry voice. A sigh was followed by, Vera taking a deep breath. "we are... Sorry. " she Apologized. "some of the other survivors were having a silly argument. " she explained. Even someone like her who was usually sly and a bit rude was frightened.

After the door was shut closed, Tracy finally allowed the male to show himself. "May I ask why... I have to hide?" he tried his best to stay well mannered, even though his introvert self wanted to be rude to them all and make him get out as quickly as possible. He had heard a few words about it later, but did not listen to them. "since you are playing in an hour, and the hunters don't know about ya, we decided to hide you from them until then!" explained Naib as he eyed the still hiding Embalmer.

Aesop let out an awkward cough, stepping out from behind Tracy. "Right.. Can someone show me where my room is?" he asked, wanting to take a fifty minute nap before entering the game. He was nervous, considering the things he had heard. He had heard a lot of things about the hunters. They were allowed to see one another, but most of the survivors were too scared to even look at the Hunter out of the game. It was not unusual, seeing as they were the ones who hurt them in matches.

"sure, come with me, " said the coordinator. Since she was in charge of taking care of the keys, she was the one who showed the new survivors their rooms and what not.

Aesop silently followed Martha out of the room and into a long corridor. All of the survivor's rooms were lined up, each and every door having a name tag.

"I know it is hard being the new guy, but I'm sure you will do just fine. My name is Martha, by the way. I am the coordinator, " said the brown haired female with the pilot attire. Aesop looked over at her, giving a small smile.

"it is nice meeting you, Martha.. My name is Aesop Carl, I am the embalmer. I'm pretty sure you already knew that, though. " he introduced himself. He got a nod in return.

"of course. Your room is here. " she stopped in her tracks, causing Aesop to stop in a halt. He looked over at the door. It really was his room. It said "Aesop Carl" kn the name tag.

"You will be playing with Emily, Fiona, and Naib in your first match. You will not be able to know who the Hunter is until you have entered the map, and have spotted them. If they wish to walk to your table, then you will know who it is before starting. " she gave a brief explanation of what the plan for his first match was. Was he really not going to know who it was? That was the thing that worried him the most.

"thank you.. I will be taking a nap now. Goodbye, " he quickly said, closing the door before Martha even got to bid her goodbyes.
