Chapter 7- mum?

I was in university with Rachael and Sarah we were getting ready for our project, all the rest of the circle didn't bother to turn up. *smh*

 

There was some new girl, Rachael didn’t even cuss her & normally she does that to EVERYONE, even if their the hottest person in the world, she finds something about them.

 

"What's wrong Rach, you’re acting a bit different?"

“Oh me? Oh um, nothing, nothing’s wrong”

“You know you can tell me”

She looked around and then whispered.

 

“Okay, but you can’t tell anyone”

“I won’t”

“I, I um, I’m up the spout!”

I started laughing!

 

“Ah Rachael, I swear your something else, I haven’t ever heard a black person say she’s ‘Up the spout’ ”

“NEVAEH! It’s not funny!”

“Alright, I'm sorry. So, what you going to do?”

“I can’t abort it, I COME FROM A CATHOLIC FAMILY!”

I laughed again.

 

“Ay, who’s the daddy?”

“JACOB!”

“Woah”

“No, he knows!”

“Oh, what did he say?”

“He said ‘you aint getting rid of my child!”

“That’s a good thing then!”

“Yeah but he won’t be pushing out a child from him, will he!”

“No one told you to have sex!”

She started laughing.

 

“It’s not that bad, it actually makes you more... independent!”

“AH, IT’S NOT THAT BAD! YOU OBVIOUSLY DON’T KNOW MY MUM ASWELL AS I THOUGHT YOU DID!”

“Of course she’ll be mad, but at the end of the day what’s done is done”

“Yeah true, what did your mum do?”

“Shouted at me said how disappointed she was and that but from time when she had me at 16 she can’t say nothing!” 

 

“So how’s Kieron”

“Ask him”

“Aw, What happened”

“Long story, I’ll call you tonight and explain”

“Alright”

We were working on our projects for about 2 hours more then we got to go home.

 

I got home at 2, I had a nice cold shower, it was hot outside, my skin was already getting darker!

I got changed into a pair of shorts, a white baggy crop top and blue vans and left my hair all out.

 

At 3 I left the house and made my way to pick up Kamren and Kamari.

When I got there, they hadn’t been let out of the class yet so I sat on one of the chairs and took my BB out of my pocket. I had a few pings, I answered them. I checked my recent updates.

Kieron had a new picture, him and some girl. He moved on quick!

 

I felt someone stand in front of me; I looked down and saw a pair of fresh white air forces.

I looked up and saw some boy.

He had chocolate brown skin, hazel/green eyes, full lips, ear pierced and mad swagger, basically a normal boy.

He was just smiling up in my face.

 

“Do you want something?”

“Na Na Na”

His voice was real deep, 

He was still smiling at me!

“Why are you smiling in my face?!”

I got up when I saw Kamren come out of his class.

 

“Kamren man! Why you got your jumper on its too hot for that!”

"Miss didn't let me take it off!" He took it off and put it around his shoulders.

Soon after Kamari came out.

 

“You got one MAD figure!”

“Thanks, Bye.”

“Aint I Gunna get your pin?”

 

I walked to the car with Kamren and Kamari both hand in hand.

When we got home I saw her. On my door step. She looked MAD. Her hair was a mess, Her eyes were red, she was half naked and she had no shoes on.

“Mum?”
