Tony sits down on the couch beside me, clearly frustrated.
"Hey, T."
"Hey, kiddo."
"What's wrong?"
"Capsicle! He keeps asking questions, and no matter how much I explain it, he won't understand." He vents, lying his head on my lap with his hands covering his eyes.
"Well, it's not like he's stupid. Maybe you just aren't explaining it in a way it'll make sense to him." I say nonchalantly. He sits up straight and turns to look at me.
"Are you doubting me? Y/n!" He whines. I giggle.
"Yes."
"You probably wouldn't be able to explain it to him either."
"Wanna bet?"
"Alright fine. What happens if you lose?" He asks. I smile.
"Nat!" I yell, and the assassin walks into the room.
"What?"
"You'll be the witness to this bet being made." I say confidently. "Loser has to fight Natasha. One on one, no magic for me, no suit for you. Winner gets to watch." I smile.
"Hell no! I don't wanna fight her!" Tony exclaims.
"What? Afraid you'll lose?" I tease, knowing he won't back down if I say those magic words.
"Fine." He grumbles. "But only because I know I'll win. You can't possibly explain anything to Spangles." He says with a smirk. I smirk back and shake his outstretched hand, sealing the deal.
"Get ready to beat Tony's ass." I smile at Nat, and she smiles back at me.

"Hey Cap." I smile, walking into his room and sitting beside him on his bed like I own the place.
"Oh hey Y/n." He says quietly.
"Why you glum, chum?" I ask, poking his cheek. He smiles.
"Nothing. It's just that I don't understand anything about so many things that other people don't even think about, but they just know it. And when I ask for help, everyone always gets frustrated." He says, sadly.
"Can I tell you something?" I kneel down in front of him and slime big, looking into his blue eyes. He nods. "I'm gonna help you." A small glimmer of hope fills his eyes.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I bet Tony I would, but seeing how much this is bothering you, that doesn't even matter. I'm gonna help you."
"You bet Tony?"
"Yeah." I say sheepishly. "But hey, if it helps I bet that I could help you out. And if you do, we get to watch Natasha beat Tony into a pulp. But if you don't then it's gonna be me beaten to a pulp, so let's just keep that in mind, and learn something." I smile weakly. He chuckles.
"Well, what do you wanna teach me?" He asks.
"What was Tony just trying to tell you about?"
"Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter."
Me and Steve spend the rest of the morning and some of the afternoon talking about the three apps. We skip lunch and continue to talk after I'm sure he knows the apps well enough for me to win.
"Thank you." He says after a few moments of silence.
"For what?" I ask.
"Helping me. You explain things pretty well." He smiles.
"Thanks." I laugh. I look at the time. "The others will probably order dinner soon."
"Do you want to just keep talking for now, or do you want to go sit with the others?"
"I stay here with you if you wanna." He smiles and nods. "Ooh! I have an idea." I run to my room and return with my laptop. "I'll teach you about Netflix, too. If you want. Some other day is fine too, we can just watch a movie for now if you don't wanna learn."
"You might as well teach me now."
"Okay cool." I log on to my laptop and open Netflix. I make him a profile and tell him about what I'm doing as I do it. "It's pretty basic really."
"Yeah, that stuff made sense." He smiles happily, and kisses me on the cheek. I blush and continue to look through some movies, asking him what he wants to watch. We finally choose and I put on the movie. I put the laptop on his legs and cuddle into his side. Even with the movie playing, we mostly keep talking.
"So, do you have any questions about what we talked about today?" I ask, looking up at him.
"Yeah, I do have one." He says, pausing the movie. He hesitates then plays the movie again. "Never mind. It's a stupid question." I sit up and pause the movie then turn to him.
"What is it? You can ask me."
"Well, when Tony was trying to explain Twitter to me, I saw something. Multiple times. But I didn't ask him, cause I thought he would laugh."
"I won't laugh, Steve. You can ask me." I comfort, squeezing his hand.
"I saw people talking about 'Netflix and Chill' and there would be an eggplant and a peach emoji. What does that mean, are you supposed to have peaches and eggplants when you watch Netflix, because that seems like a weird combination." I giggle.
"I'm sorry. I promise I'm not laughing at you. You're just really cute and innocent, and what you said was funny." I clear my throat and explain what he saw means, his face getting redder with my every word.
"Wow. You in my time, people were not that direct about things like that." He says, flustered.
"Okay Grandpa." I laugh and pat his arm. "Let's go get some food and see what those other clowns are up to. Oh and we also have to announce my victory!" I stand up and Steve follows suit.
"Hey y/n. How's it going?" Tony asks with a smirk.
"Terrible." I pout. Tony smiles, clearly relieved. "For you!" I laugh as Tony's smile drops off his face. "Steve tell 'em about all the things I taught you!" I say happily, sitting comfortably beside a very uncomfortable Tony.
Steve talks about Instagram, Snapchat, twitter and Netflix, and thankfully leaves out the Netflix and chill detail.
"Well, I think it's safe to say Y/n wins." Natasha claims.
"Yes!" I cheer as Tony whines a "No!"
"How bout we order some pizza and while we wait for it to get here, we watch Tony complete the payment of losing the bet." Clint smirks.
And that's exactly what we do. Natasha goes full-ninja on Tony, and Tony did his best to fight back. In the end, Tony can barely lift a slice of pizza and Nat has one barely noticeable bruise on her arm.
"Thank you too." I say to Steve, kissing his cheek like he did earlier.
