This "book" begins where Rachel Lippincott's novelization of the movie Five Feet Apart ends. I want it to be clear that this is UNOFFICIAL under no circumstances do I own these characters or other content. I just loved the book & movie so much. I wanted more and I thought maybe other people did too. So... this is my sequel. It is a fan fiction type of work, that has no input from any original creator. The treatments mentioned in this story are fictional. Any similarities between real people and the characters or storyline is purely coincidental.
A little background on me. My name is Lettie. Hello! I'm in high school currently, I am an EMT, and I aspire to be a doctor one day. This being said, I will do my best to make this book as medically accurate as possible. I hope that awareness for Cystic Fibrosis continues to spread. And while I'm not a real writer by any stretch, I hope this does justice to the original story, and that those suffering from this dreadful disease approve of the story. I am not trying to romanticize the CF nor offend those who have it. I am simply trying to continue a story I fell in love with, and hopefully helping to raise awareness through Five Feet Apart.
