Special #2: Missing Bubbles

It's lunch time and I'm with Max and my big brother. And I am almost done. Then I can go out and play! Lunch is good and yummy. When I finish I put my tray away and go to my cabin, fast. Me and Max are gonna play superhero with the others.

"Bubbles is gone," I say in a loud voice as I enter the back of my cabin. I left him on the chair in here, but he's not here. My dad got him for me from another country and I love him. I search under the bed and all around.

"What's wrong," Max asks as he comes in the back. I look at him.

"I can't find Bubbles." Tears and sniffles come down me as I look at Max. He comes and hugs me.

"Sh, sh. It's okay. I'll help you find Bubbles."

"R-really? You will? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"No problem little fella. Now, where is the last place you had him?"

"Chair." I point at the chair with nothing on it. He goes and looks at it.

"Hmm, this looks like a job for Mighty Max!" I giggle as he does the superhero thing. The one where you put your hands on your hips and look super cool!

"And his sidekick Super Miles!" He giggles at that.

"Okay my super sidekick, why don't we look all around in here?" He has a superhero voice.

"I did."

"Then how about I help. For all you know he could be in here and you just missed him." I nod and we search. We look under the bed, in the drawers, and all around. But nothing. We finish and Oscar comes up to the back.

"What's going on," he asks.

"Miles can't find Bubbles anywhere. We just finished searching in here and can't find him." Max now doesn't have his superhero voice. But that is not important.

"Oh no. Well, I'll help if you need an extra set of hands."

"Sounds good. As we started searching I kept thinking that River might have taken him."

"But big brother would tell me or do it when I am there. He does not just take." They both look at me.

"It's worth a shot checking with him," Oscar says to me. "He might have Bubbles and this could be one big misunderstanding." I nod as we go over to his cabin. It's all dark inside. No lights are on. He isn't inside. And we don't see Bubbles. Plus we are not allowed in because he's not in and he didn't say we could go in.

"Where is he? I know he left shortly before you and Max, but how far could he have gone?"

"Maybe he's practicing his guitar. We should look around and see if we hear it, if he is practicing." We all nod. And we move to try and find him. We go walking around the island looking for my big brother.

"Where could big brother be?" We all want to give up. Hedgehog joined us on our way. We all go back to my cabin. When we pass big brother's cabin we hear guitar.

"Looks like we found him," Hedgehog adds. We all enter. He's on his bed with his guitar. Bubbles is on his desk. He looks at us.

"Why did you take Bubbles?" I almost cry as I go to get him. He is all wet.

"Didn't you get my note Miles?" We all look confused. "Sigh, I taped a note on your back door. It said that I was going to wash him since he was really dirty and covered in gunk. The note must have fallen off. My fault there."

"Yeah, you made us all go on a wild goose chase looking for you. And only to find that you took Bubbles to wash him." Max is calm but almost not.

"Like I said, it's my fault. Anyways, Miles, did you step on any paper on your way back to your cabin?" I stop and think.

"Uh, no... Wait. Yes!" He sighs and lowers his head.

"Did you think to check what it was?" I nod.

"It was all muddy and there was no words. So I threw it away."

"You probably stepped on the note. Either way, now you have Bubbles back. And you all should leave so I can get back to practicing." We all leave, me hugging Bubbles so much.

"I'm glad we could find Bubbles." Max has his superhero voice back and the superhero thing too. I giggle a lot.

"Thank you all soooooooooooooooooo much for helping me find Bubbles. He thanks you all too."

"No problem," says Oscar.

"Yeah, and it was only just about a half hour of our time," Hedgehog also says. "Now, we've got a world to save!" She had the superhero voice too. I giggle at it.

"It's time for Awesome Oscar and Helpful Hedgehog to team up with Mighty Max and Super Miles to stop the evil Sour Susie." We all giggle and go on our quest.
