"Hurry up big brother," Miles says all excitedly. I promised him we'd hike around the island if he left me alone to practice with my guitar the other day. And now I have to go even though I don't want to.

"Alright already. I just need my walking stick." My walking stick is 5 and a half feet long. I found the stick, carved off the bark, smoothed it out, and put on a layer of protective gloss that I got from the convenience tree. It wasn't cheap because now I only have around $20 left for the whole summer instead of $30. And it's only going on the third week.

"Okay." I grab my walking stick, which I keep under the bed, and get off my knees. Then we head out on our way. The trek is going to be a long one, so I'll probably have to carry Miles at some point because his legs aren't as strong as mine.

"First, did you use the bathroom already? I'm not stopping on the way so you can go." He nods.

"Already done."

"Well then, let's go." From here we head from my cabin to our first location: the small beach where we were dropped off on day 1. From there we start our trek around the island. First up is a foresty area. It's full of a lot of plants, there being a few that I've never seen before. But I don't bother dealing with them unless they're in the way. From the forest we end up on the other side of the island, a little under halfway around. We're on the side with the monsters' home. It doesn't seem like any of them are actually home, though.

"My legs are tired. Can we go back big brother?" Our walk around the island has only been going on for maybe close to a couple hours. So his request isn't all that unjustified. And to be honest I didn't think his legs would make it this long. I guess that's the power of being super young.

"Just get on my shoulders." I kneel down so he can climb onto them.

"You are the best big brother." I blush a little at his comment and luckily there isn't anyone who can really see it.

"Yeah, whatever. Hopefully we'll get back before lunchtime." The trek backtracking to the cabins is taking a little longer since I have Miles on my back. Along the way I stop since we both have to use the bathroom. And then maybe half way back I trip on a tree root and fall into a patch of some weird looking flowers and get some oil of some sort on me. Not much, just maybe a drop or 2 worth.

"Are you okay Miles?" I get up and make sure he's fine. And it looks like he's good.

"Yes. But are you okay big brother?" Despite having a little bit of a headache from the fall, I'm perfectly okay.

"You know I'm tough. No flowers like that are going to stop me." We then continue our walk back. Along the way I start to get a little dizzy, but I don't let it show. We get back in about an hour and 50 minutes, a little slower than getting to the other side of the island.

"Thanks for carrying me for so long." About three quarters of the way he wanted down. So of course I had to let him down.

"Yeah. Well, I have a little headache. So can you please wake me after lunch?"

"You are not going to eat lunch?" I nod as I head towards my cabin. He doesn't follow me as I enter and head straight to bed to take a quick nap. For some reason I dream that I'm the same age as Miles. We both have a similar sounding squeaky voice. And our height is just about even.

"Big brother? Where are you?" Miles calls for me as I slowly open my eyes. When I went to sleep I didn't have the covers over me, yet now they are. Suddenly I realise that I'm at least shorter as my feet don't reach the end of the bed, like they usually do.

"What's going on?" I remove the covers to find that my black shirt is covering most of me. Miles looks to be in shock over this. And my voice sounds similar to Miles. It's similar to the dream I had.
