Normie (Naruto ff, fem reader)

-time skip, a few days-
(Name) POV
I was sitting in the woods close to their training field, in a tiny clearing. The entire friend group was showing off their newly learned jutsu to eachother. I have to admit, watching them was... was... it just left me speechless. How could they move so fast? Especially Rock Lee. From what I've seen, I think he may even be the fastest!

I hear a rustling in the bushes, and a little fawn walks out. "Hi," I say, reaching out to it, "where's your parents?"

The deer walks towards me, sniffing my hand before letting me softly pet her neck. "Do you need any help?" I ask calmly, trying not to frighten the young fawn. He looks healthy, and has some meat on his bones, so he was definitely doing well.

Kiba POV
I look down to see Akamaru jumping out of my jacket and running towards the edge of the field. Then I look up to see (name). My eyes widen.

"Is the normie petting... a deer?" I tilt my head in confusion. Everybody stops and turns to look.

"Holy crap, she's insane!" Ino says in disgust, "Imagine all the disease on that rodent!"

"I think it's cute," Sakura pauses, "I wish I could just go up to an animal and pet it. Why do they even hate us?" She crosses her arms.

"Have you seen yourself?" I snicker, "I don't blame them. Just having you look at me scares me."

"Wait a moment," Shikamaru says, "wait here." He walks over.

(Name) POV
I see Shikamaru walk over. He could tell I was scared.

"Uh, Shikamaru, does it ever snow here?" I ask.

"No, why do you ask?" He puts his hands in his pockets.

I notice the white tail on the deer. I recognize these from back home. "We're not in the north... this is a white tail deer. It's not real-"before I could finish my sentence, Shikamaru grabs me and jumps away to the others.

"What's going on?" Naruto asks.

"That's not a real deer," I respond, flipping up my hood and mask to conceal my identity. "White tail deers are only in northern areas. It doesn't even snow here. Whatever it is, be careful-" I look back to the spot the fawn was in, and nothing was there.

"Of course," Lee speaks up, "a shadow clone jutsu. Just as I had expected."

"Where are they?" Sakura looks around confused.

"Neji, use your byeonkugan!" Kiba shouts.

I look back to Neji, he has veins popping out all over the sides of his head. "Over there!" Neji points to the left.

I notice grains of sand in the air, gathering around me. "Uh... guys? Whats going on?" I ask worryingly.

"Jeeze," Ino scoffs, "she's so oblivious to everything!"

"Before you call me oblivious, you should turn around." I warn. There were 5 ninja with a musical note headband, lined up about 20 feet away from us.

I noticed some sand float in the air surrounding me. "Uhhhhh... you guys?" I say worryingly. Gaara walks towards me and just stands next to me. A large shield of sand floated around us and hardened. "So, like, are we about to die or something?" I ask.
He just stands there saying nothing. Not a word.

"Alright, nice talking with you. I'm gonna take a nap in the meantime." I sarcastically say, and sit down.

"Don't." He warns.

"Why not? And why are you in this village when you're from the village hidden in the sand?" I ask.

He looks down at me.

"Im sorry," I apologize, "it's just so confusing here. Im just not used to this."

He grabs my elbow and helps me up. "Why can't I sit? My legs hurt."

The sand turns normal, falling to the ground. "You don't want to be sitting right now." He says, walking forward. I look towards the fight, and see at least a dozen Narutos. How is that even humanly possible? There's also bugs almost everywhere in the air. Sand was moving on its own. And Sasuke was breathing fire? I've got to get out of here.

I face the other direction and begin to walk away. "(Name), what are you doing?!" I hear one Naruto yell, "it's not safe!"

I turn around to face him, and shrug. I turn back around to face one of the enemy ninja.
