Chapter Three

Amanda's POV

I just got home from the gym, I decided now that I've been to LA to see my friends, I'm a bit happier, and that I need to stay strong for them and everyone else. So I'm trying to stay fit and motivated. When I get home I take a shower, then double French braid my hair back when I get out. I decide to put fill in my eyebrows and apply mascara instead of going all out, then I put on some sweats, a tube top, socks, and adidas flip flops. Then I run out the house, wishing my mom goodbye, and heading over to Lyrics house.

"Hey" she opens the door when she sees me, she's clearly unexcited

"Hi!" I smile, then hug her

"You seem... happy?" She looks at me, then smiles a bit

Lately I lost my spunk, I mess up a lot playing guitar, I'm unfocused, unhappy. Everyone's drinking and I'm sitting, I don't talk. But today I'm ready to get shit done!

"Yeah" I shrug, then I enter in the house "Got any food?"

"Really" she huffs, then I open her fridge

"YES!" I pull out an uncrustable, then slide it in the toaster oven, "You know what I realized?"

"What?" She asks

"You and I... have never... had a sleepover!"

"Oh" she smiles a bit "I guess your right"

"Yeah! What's up with that?"

"I don't know, you on for this weekend?!"

"I got a modeling shoot in Texas" I frown

"Next weekend?"

"I'm going to Florida"

"The weekend after?"

"Honolulu"

"The week after?"

"Canada"

"The week after?"

"La to plan out the next months modeling shoots" I laugh and she rolls her eyes "the weekend after that I'll request off so we can have a sleepover"

"Okay" she sings 

Soon enough the other guys come, and they all seem happy to see me happy. We go into the basement and start playing, and it sounds so much better then usual! We learned a new song too! Which is awesome, and I'm almost done writing a new song, that they don't know about yet; which is also about Cole. "You said you'd never leave, but you left me with, all. the. grief. I watched them bury you, rotting corpse. in. the. ground! Now, Turn around! You are. All. I. See. Your always haunt.ting. me!" That's what I have so far, I have a beat in my head and everything.

"Hey guys?" I ask shyly as we take a break

"Yeah?" They chirp

"Uh, I kinda have a song I've been writing and I was wondering if we could try and think of tabs and shit to- ya know"

"Sure, What does it sound like?" Shane asks and I blush

"I'm not gonna sing it because I want most of it to be screamed" I giggle

"Don't were my voice out too much" he laughs

"So it's like" I start singing "You said you'd never leave. But you left me with all. the grief. I watched them burry you. Rotting corps. In. The. Ground. Now turn around. You are all. I. see. Your always haunt.ting. me"

They all kind of look at me shocked and my cheeks go red and eyes wide, then I look down at the floor, "is it that bad?"

"You said you weeent gonna sing it" lyric laughs
