"Hey kids" Johnny walks down into the basement, and we all smile

"Hey Johnny" I greet him, as we all do, then another guy follows him down the stairs and we furrow our eyebrows

"This is Jake" he jesters to a guy, about late twenties early thirties "He's your new band manager, you will be introduced to your tour manger, when you start tour"

"Hi guys, I'm Jake" he smiles "I'm really stoked to be working with you"

"Yeah for sure" Lyric nods

"We're going to get you guys into the studio to start recording" Johnny exclaims "We have to rent out the studio because y'all don't have your own yet"

"Yeah" We all nod, showing that we're listening

"So it's in San Jose, I'm gonna book you guys three to nine everyday this week"

"Johnny I can't do weekends" I exclaim and he chuckles "Seriously, I have modeling in Oregon this weekend"

"They can record vocals on the weekends then and instrumental during the week" he says and I nod, I forgot you record separately "They don't need you on the weekend"

"Okay"

The next day was our first day in the studio, which was so weird, exciting, and nerve racking. Our manager, Jake, arrived that day without Johnny. He was the one directing us and all, then there were some producers, and crew people. They had only me, Lyric, and Grim record the first time, for our first song; The Downfall. It was weird without the timing, so we kept messing up.

"Here" Jake comes in, giving us all ear buds, so in one ear we heard ourselves and in the other we heard Shane's voice. After then it was pretty much smooth sailing, but it was weird because they didn't have me record the guitar solo, so I was just sitting there waiting, listening to there boring tunes. Then we finish up the song. We have to do it over and over again though, until there's no slight scrape of the strings or mute, and everything sounded one hundred percent. Then they had everyone leave, and me record the technical parts. I think it's so if I messed up while recording we wouldn't all have to do it again, also because they wanted to louden the solo accordingly. The solo takes less time then anything to record, Ive done it so many times that the first one was almost what we used. We decided though, that we could do better. So then I do it again about three times until it's perfect, then we dove into the other technical parts in the song I didn't play in the group recording. I play it about twenty times, after a while I start messing up just because the pressure, but I get it eventually. Then, they begin to place together the song while I start a new song, doing the Zombi Suicide guitar solo. I record it time and time again, as well as the other parts, there's more in this song then the last, so it takes a while, then after all of us go in again; me, Lyric, and Grim, then we play the whole song, minus the technical and solo parts. It throws us off because we don't really know how long to my what, but in our ear buds they did a weird loop thing so we could hear the solo and singing in one ear. When we're done with those two songs, it's eight, we have one more hour so we let Max record for The Downfall. It's sad to say, in the entire time, he couldn't finish the one song.

The next day we go back to the studio. It's Max's turn still and he's just drumming. It's not really loud, because the walls are sound proof, but you can hear it a little bit. We decide while Max is doing his thing to get food, so we door dash. We all eat, then when Max is finally finished, he eats too. Then after he jumps into Zombi skin, which is way faster and harder but somehow he gets quicker. So after, deciding we'd work smarter if he recorded the next song first, it'd be a wider use of time, because we could finish by eight but he might run the time over. Max ended up taking three hours, then after I went and I took half an hour, then all together we went with the guitars. I felt bad for Shane, he drove pretty far to come to the studio, yet he didn't really have any work.
