The Avengers

Part 1. The Bus

It all started like a normal Monday morning. Agent Betty stood at the Bus stop waiting for Agent Subaru.
"Subaru is late as usual" Betty sighed. Just when she said that she could see Subaru running around the corner and coming towards her.
"Sorry I'm late" Subaru said.
"It's okay, I'm getting used to it" Betty replied.
Subaru breathed heavily as if he'd just run a marathon.
"T-The alarm didn't make a single peep this morning" Subaru said between his breathing.
"Again? Seems to happen every day. Get a new one" Betty said.
"Fine, fine. I will, once we get paid" Subaru replied "But first we need to do the job"
"Indeed" said Betty.

~Approximately 4 minutes later the bus arrives at their station~

"Let's do this" Betty said and looked at Subaru.
"Aye" said Subaru and looked back at Betty
They picked up their guns and walked into the bus.

~The reason that this happened was because the C.A.T organization had localized a stolen bit of tech from their labs.
The target wasn't far away from Betty & Subaru so they got the job.~

As Subaru and Betty went into the bus and raised their guns they yelled "Everybody freeze! Put your hands in the air! Throw your phones on the ground so I know you won't call anyone!"
Around them they could see multiple creatures for an example; Lizardmen, Birdmen, Orcs and half-Elfs etc.
"The organization said the thief was an demi-bird" Betty said to Subaru
"I'll see if they have the tech, you cover me" Subaru said to Betty
Subaru walked towards the first demi-bird he saw and said "stand up!"
The demi-bird was a young girl and she stood up quickly, she was shaking in fear. Subaru patted her lightly on the head "Do you know who's the thief young lady?" Subaru said with a calm voice.
"I d-don't know" she said.
"That's a shame" Subaru said and grabbed his scanner. He scanned her whole body for the stolen materials but didn't find anything. Betty suddenly pointed her gun towards a lizardman that she spotted when he tried to escape.
"Please, I don't know anything" the lizardman said "please let me go, the thief was a stupid bird, wasn't he?"
Betty put the gun against the lizardman.
"Shut up before I blow your brains out" Betty told him, then she yelled over to Subaru "Scan this man"
Subaru came over and began the scanning process.
"It didn't find any stolen materials.. but it seems like your stomach is filled with drugs" Subaru said and looked at the lizardman with a scary smile
"Please no" the lizardman pleaded.
Betty grabbed him and handcuffed him.
"We're going to leave you at the police when we're finished here"
Subaru went towards a sweaty demi-bird.
"You look pale, got any secrets?" Subaru said.
"I stole the tech! Please, don't kill my child! I needed the money if I could only sell this I would be able to support my family" the demi-bird confessed.
Subaru looked over to his side and saw a very young demi-bird.
Subaru looked at Betty with puppy eyes
"No" Betty said and pointed her gun towards the kid and pulled the trigger.
The demi-bird gasped and screamed in sorrow
"Take the tech" Betty told Subaru that had now come to his senses
"With pleasure" he replied.
Subaru pinned down the demi-bird that tried to break free and he used his scanner to find where the tech were.
"You hid it in your stomach? Bad choice" Subaru said and the second after he ripped open the mans chest without hesitation.
"I found the tech" Subaru told Betty as they walked out of the bus dragging the drug smuggling Lizardman after them.
"Good" Betty said. "Let's go back to the organization after we've dropped off this Lizardman"
They put a big note on the lizardmans chest that said "Hey! I smuggle drugs! Please arrest me!" Left him outside of the police station then they got into a car and drove off.
