The Avengers

Part 2. The Organization

Betty and Subaru drove down the street until they showed up at a small little pet store at the end of the street. They went inside and showed the cashier their C.A.T cards and the lady opened a secret elevator at the end of the room. Subaru and Betty went inside the elevator and pressed the B button. The elevator started moving and it began going down. They were in the elevator for multiple minutes.
When they finally arrived at the bottom floor they stood at a big metal door. They first scanned their verification cards at the lock box then put in the code and last but not least they scanned their eyes. The door opened and they went inside. They went directly to the desk and put the tech on in front of the secretary. "Please send this to Mr. Santoch for us." Becky said.
"I shall directly" the secretary responded.
Becky and Subaru then went to the right, past all the office workers desks where every person worked their hardest. They went through a curtain into a bit calmer atmosphere. It was a very long corridor with doors all the way. Betty and Subaru walked for a couple of minutes before Betty opened the door with the number 201 and went inside. Subaru went into a room nearby with the number of 207.
Becky locked the door after she'd went in and she went directly to the shower and took a hot and nice shower before she put a towel around her hair. She didn't bother putting on clothes. She went to the kitchen and made some scrambled eggs, she took the plate and went over to her laptop that stood on a little table close to her bed. She sat down and began writing her report for today's mission while eating the eggs.

~Her room was a small room, really. But fitted every need. It had a bathroom with toilet, sink and a shower. Her kitchen didn't have more than needed. She had a stove/oven and a sink. A bed, a table and a small office chair.~

When Becky finally got done with the report she sighed out.
"Geez. These reports are getting annoying nowadays"
Suddenly someone knocked on her door.
"Who's there?" Becky asked
"It's just me" Subaru said
"Let me put on some clothes first" Becky sighed.
Becky put on some clothes and then went to the door to let Subaru in.
"Have you seen Emelia?" Subaru asked
"No. I can't say I have" Becky said and began making some tea.
Subaru closed the door behind him.
"I couldn't find her anywhere" he said.
"Maybe she's on a mission?" Becky asked.
"No, she isn't. Her schedule was clear today" Subaru said a bit shaky
"Stop being so stressed out over her, I know she can survive even the hardest missions" Becky said to calm Subaru even though she knew Emelia might not survive this time. Becky had earlier talked to the secretary wondering when Emelia and Rem would come back. The secretary had told Becky that Emelia was out on a mission with level A+.
"You're right" Subaru said "maybe I should calm down"
"Drinking something might calm you down" Becky said and handed him a cup of tea
Subaru sat down at the table and took the cup.
"There's something the secretary said" Becky started
"What did she say?" Subaru said while pouring some milk into his tea.
"She said.." Becky started
"Uhuh?" Subaru mumbled and began drinking his tea
"She said that Emelia and Rem went out on an A+ mission" Becky said and held her breathe.
Subaru instantly spit out his tea and yelled "What!?"
"I'm sorry..." Becky said with tears in her eyes.
"You bitch!" Subaru yelled at her "God damn it! I'm going out for her right now!" He said and stood up so hastily that the chair got knocked over.
"Please, don't do anything stupid!" Becky yelled after him as he closed the door with a big bang and ran out.
