*So. Hi. It's me again.  daughter_of_olympus challenged me (well, she put it in her ideas book, I said I'd do it) to write this. The book itself belongs to me, the idea to her. Sit tight and enjoy the Jercy*

Perseus Jackson, Captain of the Black Pearl, Ruler of the Seven Seas, Pirate King Supreme was excited. He always was before a raid. He hung off the side of the ship, the wind blowing in his face. His ship was alive. It always was. Never would she be quiet, not until the day she sank beneath the waves.

His second in command, Annabeth Chase, stuck her bandanaed head out of a porthole from below deck.

"Captain, we have sight of the coast. Should we let down anchor in the bay, or circle back around after we have all the supplies?" he grinned. They were close. So close he could almost touch it. But he could wait. He didn't get this famous, and wanted, without being cautious.

"Circle back after we get supplies. I need to head to the tavern, I have business there" Annabeth knew better than to ask what business he had. She nodded, then her head disappeared back below deck. She popped back a moment later.

"Will you go alone, Captain?" she asked. Percy considered and then smiled.

"Anyone who wishes to come can, but only if they aren't needed to guard ship" she gave a curt nod before vanishing once more. After a short pause, the noise on deck rose as a cheer went up from the crew. Piper Mclean, with her large dangling earrings, hopped down from the crow's nest where she had taken over lookout from Ethan Nakamura and danced around with their kitchen girl Hazel Levesque. Luke Castellan smiled and continued sharpening his sword. He would stay here.

Suddenly, Nico di Angelo - their scout when at the dock - appeared out of nowhere, as if out of the shadows and subtly walked over to their Captain. He nodded at him once before speaking.

"Captain, there are Royal Guards littering the city. They seem to be looking for us" Perseus smiled. Oh, how he did like a challenge.

"Good," he said sharply before climbing up some ropes to be better seen by all. "Crew!" he called. The cheering and dancing subsided. They all looked up in rapt attention. Everyone knew never to mess with Captain Perseus Jackson. After he knew he had their attention, he continued. "Crew, tonight we swing round to Black Jack cove. We anchor, and stay there. Since there are Royal Guards around, we will be going in our best clothes. I need to pay an old friend of mine a visit, and you deserve a night on the taverns!" another cheer went up. Pirates where notorious drinkers. "Then, when we have the supplies, we raid the one place no pirate worth his gold had ever raided..." he paused for suspense. "King Zeus' palace!" a gasp resounded through the ship. Most faces were exited, others slightly concerned. But all were impressed. If they pulled this off, they would be rich beyond their wildest dreams! And they would be famous. Very, very famous.  They ceased their reactions after Perseus made to speak again. "So, to Black Jack cove!" The ship bustled with life. This was the heist of the century. Scratch that, millennia! They pulled this off, well, they would be well off. Everyone was determined not to fail.
