Waking up to silence was always nice in the morning. But not this morning, with every second my hatred only grew towards my mo- her. She had no right doing this to us.

The betrayal she has caused is unforgivable.

"Caleigh! Get up or you'll be late for school." My mom called from down stairs.

Getting up I grabbed my cold steel naval Dirk. Gripping the sword tightly, I walked down stairs were my mother stood. In her pajamas drinking coffee on the counter.

"Get dress hun, or you'll be late." She looked down at the  sword that I gripped.

"Hun, what's going on?" She voice quivered.

     I said nothing.

Moving closer, I let the sword drag on the tile floor. Making a loud scrapping noise as I walked.

"Caleigh, answer me. What are you doing?" She backed away into the counter.

As I got closer I raised my sword at her.

    Ready to strike.

        I'm scared.

The little girl within me trembled.

     "Caleigh,please." My mother cried.

"Time to die." I whispered. With my sword above my head I I strike straight down only to hit the counter.

        Missed.

"How did you figure it out?" She spoke.

"My mom is at work.......screwing around."I ready my sword.

      The demon smirked. "Smart human."

"I'm not in the mood." I striked again aiming for her stomach, but she immediately prevented that from happening.

"Stupid human you can't beat a dem-" Before she could finish that sentence I struck again but this time succeeding. My sword hit her flesh, ripping through it like butter. Blood spilled from her chest wound.

     "So.... it bleeds." I grinned.

She had a stupid look on her face, like she couldn't believe that I had cut her.

"You'll pay for that with your life." She growled.

"Yeah yeah, your gonna make me late for school. Let's get this over with." I said in a bored tone.

I ready my sword and she takes out a dagger. Watching closely on her movements I wait patiently for her attack. And if I look closely I could predict her next move.

She finally attacked aiming at my head I dunked quickly and punched her gut. She staggered back a bit, once she regained her balance she attacked me again.       Her movements were fast.

So, I had to be faster.

Dodging her strikes at my stomach and face, she finally managed to slice my cheek letting my blood trickle down slowly.

"Is that the best you can do?" I said completely unimpressed, this is a total waste of time.

Well, time to stop playing games.

I held my sword in my real fighting stance and closed my eyes, took a deep breath. Once I opened them, as fast as I could, I charged at her.
