Leon's POV

“YOU!!??/YOU!!?” she gasped and we both said in shocked. I stoop up from my chair while I slammed my both hand in my table. I can’t believe it! The girl in my thought earlier and who I bumped yesterday because of her stupidity is right here in front of me and will be my new secretary.
She really shocked, she looks funny but cute at the same time, and she stiffed in her position. Her mouth went slight agape while eyes wide open.

I walked towards her “Hey! Are still alive? It seems like you saw a ghost.” I waved my hand in her face. She startled and blinks few times before she speaks up.

“Uh! No! I was j-just s-shocked that the g-guy who b-bumped me at t-the resto is m-my b-boss” she stuttered while her head down.  

I smirked and held her chin to lift her head, “I was shocked also because of all people out there that Mr. Lee will be recommended, why a stupid girl like you?” I teased then she frowned and I think she’s getting mad.

She slaps my hand from her chin, “Excuse me sir? If I’ve known it from the start that you will be my boss, I will not accept this job. Can you please stop calling me stupid? ” she said while fixing her posture and look directly to my eyes. Brave enough huh!? I like that.

“Is that so? Then don’t act like stupid one. Cause if you didn’t know, I never bumped you in the first place, if you’re aware that someone will bump you. Am I right?” I raise my eyebrow and tuck my both hands in my pocket.
“But- ” She inhales deeply ” Okay sir ! Don’t worry I will prove it to you that I’m not that kind.” She proudly said. Hmm? Let’s see.

I leaned forward which is there’s only 1 inch apart between our faces, “Don’t just say it. Just act it ” she widens her eyes and step backward.

“Y-Yeah!” she lowered her head. She’s bipolar, she seems to be a brave cat earlier but then again she became shy in an instant. She seems so interesting.

I walked towards my sit and lean myself onto it, “I want you to start today and finish this papers.” She looks shocked again. Yeah, I told Mr. Lee that she will start tomorrow but I change my mind because she’s interesting, I want to test this cat. What if she will not come tomorrow and change her mind, at least now, I have the time to tease her.

“What? But Mr. Lee told me that I will start tomorrow. And my things are not here yet. ” she protested. How can she manage to become cute at this state?

“I'm the boss remember? Plus, I changed my mind and why not? You’re hired already right? Whether you like it or not, you will start today and finish these papers because I want it tomorrow!” she gave up and she just nodded then she gets the papers.

“You can sit there” I point the table far besides me.

“What’s your name again?” I deadpan and not looking on her.

“Jennie Kim sir” she said while she manage sit and start doing her task.

“So, Miss Kim finish those papers today, and double check every detail if you don’t want to work overtime and left here all alone. I have to meet someone, I will leave you here and I’ll be back after lunch. If someone ask me just tell them I’m out. ” I said before leaving my office because I have important meeting with some investors. I didn’t wait her to response cause I’m in a hurry.

Jennie’s POV

I didn’t expect this and I was really shocked. That brat is my boss! It just like I’m stuck in a battle that no one can rescue me. I want to get hella out of here but I promise to Mr. Lee and my cousin that I will never disappoint them and I need this job also.

He didn’t want me to response, he just left. How rude! But I was feel relief because he finally out and I can do my work properly. See? It’s not my starting day then she gave me this papers and she wants me to finish it within today. The good thing is Mr. Lee told me if I didn't know some of my work, I just ask assistant for her daughter.

“Is that so? Then don’t act like stupid one. Cause if you didn’t know, I’ never bumped you in the first place, if you’re aware in your way that someone will bump you. Am I right?”

Keep repeating in my mind. Ugh! Maybe he must right also! But it’s not only my fault urrgghh! Why am I even thinking of it? It’s done and that brat boss of mine is such meanest person I’ve ever met.

Time skip

After Lunch. .

Mr. Lee approached me earlier and he asked apology of what happened today. I said its okay and I thanked him for the recommendation. While encoding in the computer, my phone ring and as I expected its Jisoo unnie.

“Jendeukie how’s your first meeting with CEO? How’s is he? Did he like you? Did he hire yo-? I cut her off, she’s talking too much. I don’t even know how to answer her questions.

“Yah! Unnie your talking too much. Your really excited huh?” I playfully said.

“Ne! Excited much! Now tell me what happen” she commanded.

“I will tell you later when I get back home. I need to hang up this call because I have a work finish. Bye unnie! ” I immediately hang up and didn’t wait her to response.
One hour had passed, I decided to rest for while so I leaned my body to my chair for me to relax. Minutes passed I suddenly jolted from chair when a familiar voice spoke up!

“I didn’t hired you to sleep in my office! Are you done with the job I gave it to you!? Or you sleep all the time after I left” he cleared his throat. It seems he not mad at all through his expression. He just stare me blankly.

“No sir and I’m sorry. I didn’t know I slept when I decided to took a rest for while. Maybe I was just tired. And to be honest I didn’t finish yet but I’m almost done” as I defended myself. He didn’t know how I’ve been through with these papers.

He frowned and stares me with a serious face “I don’t care if you’re tired or whatever reason you have. Just do your job and finish it today!” then he turned his back and walked through his chair. Seriously? He’s even a human? Patience Jennie! You can handle him.

“Yeah I know you don’t care. You don’t need to slap in my face. Don’t worry I’ll finish these papers no matter what happen.” As I sit back to my chair and continue working. I never ask why he always hiring his new secretary, I just get the answer already. This brat! He’s really getting to my nerve.

Time skip

I finished those papers then he said I just left it in his table and he allowed me to go home. When I got home I told to my cousin everything happened today. She’s somewhat pissed because of my boss attitude but I didn’t told her that he is the brat stranger I met at the resto. Cause I know she will be more mad and I don’t want her to force me drop off the job.
