A/N: Just a quick warning, this chapter does have some swearing and slight smut, nothing extreme though.

"I don't even need to pack, I never got a chance to unpack In the first place" I laugh as Ambrose asks how my packing for the academy is going.

"I'm just sad I couldn't start with Brina" I frown sitting on top of my suitcase eating a blueberry muffin Hilda made earlier.

"Well after her trial, it seems that she will be starting in a few days time, so you've got nothing to worry about" He tried to comfort me, patting me on the head before exiting the room.

I sigh, picking up all my belongings and bringing my suitcase downstairs. "Mabel! quick before you go I have something for you" Aunt Hilda runs over to me placing a piece of cloth in my hand, I open it up and see whats inside, "Protection charms?" I smile placing them in my purse.

"Yes I'm just concerned for you darling, you know what bullies are like." I nod and thank her before slipping my shoes on, "by the way darling, you do look lovely, you need to tell me where you get your clothes from, they're so trendy".

"And remember! be careful around the boys young girl! and girls for that matter, you never know what might happen to you" Aunt Zelda explains as I walk up the stairs into the academy.

"Of course Zelda, I'll be perfectly fine, don't worry about me" I smile observing how odd the building looked, I thought it would be much posher than this.

I notice a younger boy with a chalk board with 'Mabel Spellman' written on the front of it at the top of the staircase, "pardon me miss, are you Mabel?" he asks.

"Thats me!" I smile, "We've been expecting you, this way please" he makes his way up the rest of the stairs and I follow closely behind.

When he opens the door I am astonished at how such an old building can look so modern and clean inside, the younger boy, who told me his name was Quintin gave me a short tour around the academy, along with a history lesson of the school itself.

I then had a short meeting with Father Blackwood who handed me my schedule and my dorm room key, apparently I wouldn't be sharing with anyone due to their being no spare beds in the larger girls dorm.

Once the meeting was over I noticed that it was lunch time so I made my way towards the cafeteria area, after getting my food I looked for a place to sit but the only table available was all by myself.

"Great start to the new school" I mutter to myself as I sit in the corner.

"Hey Miss Spellman" I hear from a deep voice behind me, I turn around to see the one and only Nicholas Scratch.

"Thank god you're here, everyone else here is so entitled" I whisper hoping no one else could here.

Nick slightly laughed, "I promise you'll get used to it, they just don't like change" he winks taking a spoonful of the curry I had gotten and greedily proceeds to eat it.
